What happened Loingsigh? Ireland needs you!
If there's anything technical you need a hand with just reply to this and I'll reply with an email. Would be happy to help with anything you need to get started. I don't live far from Kerry.

Hello from an interested learner. Would you consider putting your old videos back up? I haven’t seen them but am willing to bet that I would like them better than anything else on You tube.

I've got one small request. Could you please teach the Irish language as it is spoken by yourself and other fluent native speakers from your region? On RUclips, they mostly teach the "official standard" (which is not spoken in any Gaeltacht!) with very poor pronunciation by non-native speakers. I would love to learn to speak Irish Gaelic as it is actually spoken by fluent native speakers from the Kerry Gaeltacht. And I would like to read books and poetry by fluent native speakers from Munster - Séadna, A Thig ná Tit Orm, Fiche Blian Ag Fás, 7rl.

The best thing would be to make the videos in Irish with English AND Irish subtitles.

Good man yourself. Glad to see you back. I don't have much of an opinion on which language you use, English or Irish, but I did like your frequent discussions on grammar and orthography, especially with a reference to past and present customs and the comparisons between regions and a nice Kerry perspective to round it all out. If I absolutely had to choose, I believe I would choose to have them in Irish, but I can imagine a lot of people may play just the audio during drives and such, which would mean beginners couldn't use them in Irish. Bit of a tough choice anyway.

It would be nice to work on a fun song, e.g., An Poc ar Buile; or maybe a poem from one of the great poets of Munster, e.g., Seóthó a Thoil. A folktale from Ó Bhéal An Bhab or from Peig Sayers would also be very nice. For us beginners, a few nursery rhymes would be a good way to start using the language right away, after only a few grammar lessons.

"I have encountered more non-Irish people with a (near-)native proficiency in Irish than people from Ireland, since learners from abroad tend to treat Irish as what it really is in relation to English and any other language that isn't Irish- i.e. a foreign language, with its own distinct phonology, grammar, and idioms."
I have noticed this too. I actually had a small collection of videos and recordings from the radio somewhere specifically of people from other countries who had better Irish pronunciation/general phonetic mastery than 99.99% of peers of mine who attended Gaelcholáistí (the 0.01% was a guy I knew who had native speakers in his family and spent time outside of school working on his Irish with them).
Some of those peers of mine are now teachers and they haven't worked on it at all... the system needs to churn em out to fill positions!

Great to hear this. I would love to learn Irish and would like to know the best way to go about this?

I hear a slight echo off the walls of the small room you are in but otherwise your recording is doing well.

Tuige nach ndéanfá dhá leagan ar chuile fhís? Dhá mbeadh a leithéidí de thaiféadtaí ar fáil i nGaeilge bheadh sé an-tsuimiúil do dhaoine ag foghlaim, cheapfainn.

Fàilte mhór ort. If you make any videos, will they be in An Caighdean Oifigiúil or your own local dialect?

Would love if you had time to make more videos and in a structured manner. I’m sure your channel would take off. Maybe not Mr Beast but a sizeable loyal following!

Conas mar is féidir teagmháil a dhéanamh leat a mhic? Bheadh sé go maith an teagasc i do chuid físeáin a fháil ar bhealach eile.
