I HAD GONE TO MY VILLAGE BAUDPUR, BHADRAK ON 17/12/2023 BY MEMU TRAIN FROM CUTTACK STATION. IT WAS MEMU(Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) LOCAL TRAIN JOURNEY STARTED ON 8.45am. to 6.48pm. same day. Actually my aim is to present this video before you on my youtube channel "Saicomctc14' to show how 40 years back local trains have been modified into new generation MEMU train. Really at that time the local trains were very slow moving, stopping at every station, having wooden chairs/benches to sit, pulled by steam engine run on coal , throwing huge black/white smokes with heavy dust particles. Toilets were very much unhygienic condition, track bases were very dirty, were more noise making and like this many more.
But in comparison to the 40years back local train, now the MEMU trains are very much good.
Now trains are running on electric which are very much noise free and fast moving with more comfort. Coach inside structures have been changed to make it user friendly. Many automatic systems and modern audio visual systems have been implemented. Entire railway systems has been updated to new generation wanting. Also India has developed it's own technology to compete the world and one type of India is becoming self sufficient specially in railway section.
Really we are proud of our rail system.
