    good video and job i think he cut the shield off so he could grease it i have done same thing. take care, be safe and well.

    I wouldn’t have touched it unless he signed a release regarding the PTO shield. You worked on it and didn’t fix it and that could come back and bite you right in the wallet big time.

      Thanks for watching and your comment. You bring up a very valid point especially if someone is running a repair shop. Most of the equipment I see and use is second third or more hand and often times there are safety features missing, disabled or it’s old enough that it was never on it. My personal life law and what I recommend is Never climb on or off a tractor, or approach an implement, that has a pto shaft attached if the motor is running. Safety is a mindset and if you aren’t able to constantly think about it it’s time to take a break until you can. Have a great day and be safe!
