Lexiav is playing Heroes of Might and Magic III with the HotA (Horn of the Abyss) expansion and the community-built HD Mod (not to be mistaken for the HD version on Steam): www.hota.acidc....
He uses the online lobby for multiplayer games.
If you wanna have the smooth animations, like he does, you gotta use this setting from the HD Launcher i.imgur.com/1n...
Black Dragons are immune to magic
Crimson Quatls are immune to giving a shit.
As a noob, I dont understand why you dont pick up all the gold, wood and refugee camp at your starting undeground location. Even outside you often avoid picking up stuff that is really close. I would love if you made video where you explain in detail your every decision, where do you hurry so much and why do you skip picking certain resources along the way.
Its really all about efficiency. Your movement points are one of the most, if not the most, important resources you have. If you use those for resources along the way, you might be wasting them and not get to more important objectives later one. For example delaying your main town by to many turns and missing out on a week 1 dwelling build for those extra creatures.
Next to that, all unused resources sitting in your kingdom stockpile dont contribute to a better game. The key is to only pickup the resources you're going to need in the near future. In the mid to late game you don't pickup almost any resources as banks like stockpiles and utopias should provide you with all you need.
That said, this level of efficiency is only needed in pvp and pve challenge maps. Standard single player should be played the way that is most comfortable to you :)
before seeying PVP mode, i was on the same thinking level. But those small resources are a bait/delaying for fast taking Towns/Boxes and bigger fights/artifacts. Playing PVM , time is almost useless, but on PVP...time is everything
@@MrMus1cBox I find Lexiav often is needlessly aggressive though. I think it is more about built in muscle memory than actually saving moves. I mean, I have seen him often walk right past a wood mill or ore pit. That makes no sense to me, as he often realizes he actually needed those resources and will spend half a day or more worth of movement points flagging another mill/pit. There is also something to be said about saving on time by not constantly having to trade.
@@KarmaKahn, I completely agree xD
Especially when he has 400-500 movement points left and ends turn because a new objective is to far away for this turn. But I guess I do understand in a mode where split decisions make or break your game, so I let it be.
Couatls are such cool units to play
I hate that the dreadnaughts are not viable... They are such an awesome units. I totally think they should have been given a ranged attack, no reason for the eye laser to not work at range
wr
or they could have 10-11 speed and be able to do laser ability even after moving towards enemy. stop near them and laser.
What a wonderful game! 🎉
124 nice turn man

опять однокалиточная игра
