That's they call our country a paradise because they are places not known by tourist but by the locals..so welcome to our pride and humble country the Philippines 🇵🇭.
Philippines is the most beautiful country on earth. Most Filipinos don't have much but they are friendly, respectful and kind. Their culture is a bonus.
Honestly, I think there are so many places in the Philippines that are way more beautiful than the Maldives, in my opinion. I would rather spend that money and really explore the Philippines ❤️
GREAT video content about Philippines, definitely the best country in the world, worth visiting and exploring. Friendly people, delicious tropical food and drinks, crystal white sandy beaches, has a lot to offer. Mabuhay to PARADISE, I love it
Such a beautiful place 😍 ⛵️. The Philippines 🇵🇭 is so blessed with such natural beauty 🏝 and we are so fortunate to have a ❤️ couple 💙 👩❤️👨 like you who have the passion to travel ✈️ off the beaten path and take us with you 🇹🇩 ❤️
I personally don’t like the use of “privileged” as none of us is/was a rich kid, so we worked really hard to be able to visit so much in the Philippines. “Privileged” yes, in a political sense because a Romanian passport allows more free travel than, let’s say, a Filipino passport. But of course we are extremely grateful to have had this chance to visit such pristine islands that we have only dreamed of when we were kids 🙏♥️
Saw your guys post on the travel Philippines page on Facebook. Love the vlog! Can’t wait to explore that area :) we were there last April and we head back in January :)
There are very tourists there and the facilities are still being improved. Thank you for appreciating that southern part of our nature - blessed province, Palawan
Probably now with the high season there are more tourists than when we visited in June last year. It is really beautiful, I hope they will not overcrowd it like it happened in El Nido🥺
You're so lucky to have had the chance to experience Balabac at a time when there are still few tourists who go visit there. Watch out for crocs though.
We slept on Bugsuk island, not the main Balabac island, but I guess every now and then they wander out to the other islands too. The sea is beautiful but one must always be aware of the dangers, the stingrays are no joke either. Yes, sadly they have already started to build a resort on the island where we slept on. Hopefully it will not get spoilt like El Nido bay - although this year with few tourists I can say the water was spotless in El Nido bay without the boats, very beautiful, compared to 2 years ago, when it was full of trash.
Thanks to everyone who worked to make the area safer for tourists so we can visit and show it to the world too ♥️ It’s really a piece of paradise, hopefully available to the public for a long time still- all the islands in the Balabac Group of islands are privately owned already 🥹
Agreed - we personally don't like the setting in Maldives, we're adventure travellers and can't stay in commercialised touristic spots like that. I see where Marlou is coming from, she is talking about the colour of the water and sand. Here's to hoping the Balabac Group of Islands will never become this resort controlled place. P.S. we would rather spend the money in the Philippines, it's much more diverse❤
Oh yes, the dogs belong to the family who runs the basecamp on Bugsuk island. Garfield (the cat) belongs to the caretaker of Onok Island. The happiest cat alive to live on Onok island 😂
Have a nice romantic dinner on me. And thank you again for your travel-inspiring vlogs. It's so heart warming to see how in-love you are with each other! 👩❤️👨
There are still beautiful islands to discover, Calaguas, Caramoan, Balesin, Tablas, Jomalig. Off the beaten path, not known to tourist/vloggers, secluded and unexplored
Hi, beautiful video! May I please ask who did you use for this tour? And if you don’t mind, can you share how much did it cost for the private tour, we are planning to do the same soon. It will be myself and my 2 teenage sons. We are so excited!

There is no store, only private tours come here. But on Bugsuk island where the basecamp is, they do have a sari sari store, you can buy chips and crackers and stuff like that :)
During the early 2000s to 2015.nobody dares to come to such.places . It was infested by terrorist . But during the advent of President Duterte he modernize the navy and be friend the separattist rebels to such extent that they become the confluent of peace and security throughout the archipelago. Nowadays you can reach as far as Tawi tawi with tourism officials to greet and guide you to perfect destination on the islands.
Yes, thanks for this, maybe others who are afraid here will see and understand we haven’t wandered out there mindlessly without researching the current situation. I can confirm we have never felt unsafe. Yes, the locals are much less shy than in other more popular areas of the PH, but that is natural as they were not so exposed to tourists🙏
@@japanese_flashcard_channel the entire Philippines is “instagrammable”. This entire planet is. Now it depends what everyone finds more important, to actually enjoy the place and be there in the moment, or live for social media. We have seen people (especially local travellers) only taking pictures, videos following all trends and not stopping to breathe for a moment and acknowledge the great place they are in. However, not to argue, but more people coming here can’t be the only reason why suddenly the area is safer. Whilst we were there actually we have seen very few other people. As you can see in the video, most of the time we were the only people on every island.
Balabac waters are extremely blue and it's glowing. I've been to other beautiful islands also, but Balabac blue feels that there are lights underwater, because they glow in different shades of blue
