Do it need to add any plugin for this purpose, in our system after enabling the "Did you mean" configuration and searching misspelled term in opac and the by clicking the Suggestion option the following error appears
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

No I don't think so you need to plug any plugin. Please have a look at global system preferences and make sure, LibrisURL must be there.

Slow speed usually indicates that your machine has insufficient RAM.
