Sir I just needed to let you know that a number of factors have inspired me to begin learning the guitar myself. You, alongside the many, many talented musicians on RUclips, are most certainly one of those influences. Ten years ago I wouldn't even be caught listening to music, let alone learning an instrument. Over the years I've been gradually exposing myself to more and more sound and a few months ago, not long after I discovered your channel, with you playing my favourite franchise OST, except metal, that's when I told myself, "Mate you clearly love music, oddly enough. You should get involved." So here I am. Still very early days for me of course as I've only had my guitar for about three months, but the very act of learning even a single chord brings me joy that nothing else has ever done. Thank you for showing me that I don't have to live the rest of my life wallowing in despair and doing nothing about it.
Out of all AC covers, this is my favorite. By a slight margin and because the singing and keyboard orchestration really did a nice contrast to the crazy polymeter and polyrhythms of the prog style arrangement. Beautifully done Vince!

My *ONLY* gripe is that the guitars/heavy part shouldn't have started until after the vocals. You jumped the gun a bit on that IMO - but the rest? Absolute fucking *gold*.

Sir I just needed to let you know that a number of factors have inspired me to begin learning the guitar myself. You, alongside the many, many talented musicians on RUclips, are most certainly one of those influences.
Ten years ago I wouldn't even be caught listening to music, let alone learning an instrument.
Over the years I've been gradually exposing myself to more and more sound and a few months ago, not long after I discovered your channel, with you playing my favourite franchise OST, except metal, that's when I told myself, "Mate you clearly love music, oddly enough. You should get involved."
So here I am. Still very early days for me of course as I've only had my guitar for about three months, but the very act of learning even a single chord brings me joy that nothing else has ever done.
Thank you for showing me that I don't have to live the rest of my life wallowing in despair and doing nothing about it.

Out of all AC covers, this is my favorite. By a slight margin and because the singing and keyboard orchestration really did a nice contrast to the crazy polymeter and polyrhythms of the prog style arrangement. Beautifully done Vince!
