Yunjin is my bias so of course I love this song. Her story is one of perseverance. She couldn’t make a crack in the American music scene when she lived in the US ( don’t even get me started on the bullcrap that the American music scene is ) . Then she trained for so long trying to make it into the kpop scene. She was a contestant back when IZone was being formed and she did not make it. She experienced so much rejection in the industry , but she didn’t let it define her. Instead she went to work to improve herself…as a songwriter and signer and dancer. Right now she is one of the most powerful idols in the industry. She was also credited with helping write three songs on their latest album. I hope to hear more original songs from her in the future.
yeah! i cant remember where it was i seen her say it (maybe the lee mujin service?) but she saw BTS win an award at an american awards show and it made her realise she can do what she always wanted! and i just think that is so admirable!
