I know someone already said this, but the way you treated your co-angler was a class act. I know it is a tourney with money on the line, but co-anglers sometimes get treated like step children...lol. The best popper rod I own is an IMX-PRO drop shot rod 822 DSR 6'10 extra fast. 15 # braid 10 pound mono leader. I went through probably 20 rods before I settled in on that one for poppers.

Those Rico poppers are dope. I bought one for the first time when I was staying at Rockahock last year and had never heard of them and went to the little fishing store down the road from Rockahock that’s in that little concrete building and they had some and the kid turned me onto them so I starting using them and now it’s one of my favorite poppers. A little pricey but they are worth it.

I paint Lil 2" Poppers that kill em. Very rarely miss a fish or have one get off. 6 1/2' ML spinning. 15# braid to short 4' 8# mono leader.
We were the guys fishing ahead of you that day 😂. Caught a 5 lber and 3lber. Back to back. But to be fair you were fishing my favorite dock.

Personally, I run a mono leader when fishing poppers on a spinning combo with a fast tip. It gives you a little extra stretch. Just be aware that mono can break if you get it wrapped around some thick stuff

don't let them wipe the harddrive!! there are ways to recover that data as long as the harddrive itself is not damaged!!

Don't take it to apple, they will not fix, they will replace shit. They will charge alot. IMO
There was one stretch that was rough Sat morning, i stopped at chippokes
