Very nice install, I have the same radio etc but I keep mine portable in my back pack or sling that way I can take it where ever I want and it wont get stolen from my car.
Thanks! that is an "Islander" from Long Island Watch. I'm not sure they make that specific model anymore, it was one of the first versions to come out of that micro brand.
Does the cord on the BT-01 allow it to act as a always on remote head where i dont have to worry about the battery or the screen turning off? I would prefer something like the BT-01 but hardwired but it seems they dont make it. Thanks 73s -KF5WNT
Hi, sorry for the late reply. So when the BT-01 is connected to the radio via the cable it does charge when there is no signal present. I have not personally tried this yet, but I do plan on it. I would have liked to see the battery life of the BT-01 to be a little longer.
