Ho, Ho, Ho and a Merry Merry Christmas to Ya. Well, what I can say. Santa Claus is coming to town. He knows when Youve been sleeping, Hes know when You awake, Ya You get the general idea.
But one place Santa Claus always visits is Downers Grove, Illinois. How can He not, the parade is named after Him.
Yes, on Sunday November 30, 2008 in Downtown Downers Grove, The Downers Grove Santa Claus Parade took place. This parade featured a variety of organizations, of course Downers Grove Police and Fire, including High School Marching Bands, Boy and Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Brownies too, as well as a wide variety of other organizations and local businesses, plus a bunch of clowns. Of course the hightlight and namesake of the parade was a very special visit by the jolly old elf himself, Mr Kris Kringle, aka Santa Claus. This parade was part of this days Christmas activities and kick off for Downers Groves Christmas Activities for 2008.
