GUTTER SCREENS: THEY SAY ONE THING / REALITY SAYS ANOTHER PT. 1.

Condition: A "loose" guttering System. Cause: The old nail and ferrel system needing updating / & replacement (with the new screw anchoring fasteners that became commonplace and more avail.).
SO: "I hired this to be done" ...
Correction: My taking on the job MYSELF, thus providing a remedy for a poor product / amid a poor installation in 'them' having done this job INCORRECTLY.
The Story: I HIRED a Company to install the "new type" hangers on my nail and ferrel type guttering system (or the existing system that I have NOW), The Guttering was loose, and was literally falling off the Facia board on my home ... LATER: I asked that a nice "screening system" then be installed atop of the trough's (AFTER the fastening work was done), as to help lessen any maintenance in having to CONSTANTLY clean my gutter's ... *I was met with an enthusiasm by these people saying: "will fasten everything all back up nicely, abandon the 'nails' (holding the guttering up), and install the BETTER hangers, (or the new "screw-type" hangers ... and lastly: install some nice screens to ELIMINATE your having ta do this EVER again.

thought: I was told that I NOW had the remedy (so far as the leaf / debris system's concerned).
BUT: "THEN IT RAINED" !!! ... and when it did the water (and I'm guessing 50% or better) not only ran underneath the trough, it then onto the soffit's, (and in some measure), it even DOWN THE WALL of the house.
Depicted here is what a Guttering Service Contractor left me with.
You'll see how I was forced to take it upon MYSELF to remedy a HUGE PROBLEM, thus "correcting" the entire issue . WATCH OUT PEOPLE !!!
