Exactly I play tennis 4 or 5 days per week. And I played on university team 40 years ago and still hit my serves in the 100 MPH. That's from yoga and taking this age is just a number thing quite literally. I can't believe it sometimes. My footspeed is also superb. Even my kids who are hesitant to give me complement were bragging about that at a family get together. So this talk resonates with me first hand.
My 3 truths about health and age: 1. The #1 thing even age can't take away: flexibility 2. Knowledge: knowing how your body functions, what over the counter/prescription drugs help your body, and what food does/effects your body 3. Try to push your pain tolerances (mentally and physically). If you can change distress into eustress.
Yes, if you do yoga with interest it liberates you from chemical desires and monk mode becomes the default mode - energy is preserved and ageing is graceful not painful.

A lot of celebrities have spoken about the benefits of TM. I definitely recommend doing this to maintain a healthy body and mind 🙏😊
Invest in other stuff other than your body means 1/ yoga 2/Pranayama 3/ Pratyahara 4/Voluentering /Yama( helping someone without expectation ) 5/Sadhana ( it could be as simple as resisting your wants) 6/ dharana- involve yourself in any activity in such a way that u forget yourself!

Live like a 25 year old and you will stay young forever. Life forces me to be always sharp, always ready. For me life is a struggle. I would like to rest sometimes but if I sit back and relax like my age group does. I will end up on the street, broke and sick. That is unacceptable.

I enjoy singing, music, dance, and physical fit by practising yoga, taking caring of needy, and mditate on devine blissful life.

Can someone help me find more teachings where sadhguru talks about moving from bodily desires (chemical and hormonal wants) to conscious desires (ones that we value, understand to be worthwile and all)? This sounds like a subject of discipline, energy, focus and interest creation. Where do I learn more about it?

Take one (online) course on "Inner Engineering", Keep a little distance between you and your body, (this comes with practice, teach your brain to watch your breath and back-bone and avoid all thoughts.) (still myself trying!!) / once a day, 30 mins, get in touch with soil, air, water and fire. / With this practice, your (Sanchitha) Karma will slowly melt (which means you dont react for anything un-necessarily) If it matures, then your (PraRabdha) Karma starts melting, (which means even if someone blames you, you will say sorry and move away etc) So far I'm here in this step, beyond which.. not sure.. :)😇
