JSC interviews Law professor Patricia Mbote for CJ post

Vetting for nominees for the position of Chief Justice entered its second day with law professor Patricia Kameri Mbote appearing before the vetting panel. Prof. Mbote who is a distinguished scholar was however at pains to defend her integrity after memoranda was submitted challenging her bid to be Kenya’s next Chief Justice.
Kamore vowed to use her skills in leadership and administration to transform the judiciary. Prof. Mbote was also questioned over her role in advocating for the BBI process having once served as a facilitator for the BBI report by sensitizing Kenyans on its contents.
