- Joker and the Thief launched this - their 5th - deck in 2017 after a successful Kickstarter campaign. It’s a hauntingly beautiful deck designed by Sydney based artist Kentaro Yoshida with almost dark themes of mysterious maidens from the beyond. With restrained and elegant metallic touches, this is one of my favorite JT decks out there!
Want one? They are a little harder to come by at retail but are actually pretty easily obtainable on eBay and other secondary markets!

Dan - make sure you get this deck added to your collection. Inspect the court cards. There are at least 3 - 5 hidden Easter Egg differences essentially making it a one way back design while disguised as a mirror design. The copper foil used on the tuck and metallic inks throughout the courts is excellent.
I LOVE this deck! First it's Cartamundi so the stock feels luxurious, unlike USPCC decks. Its the thick B9 True Linen paired with such amazing art and the copper foil accents - its just such a fantastic combination of nice touches. I wish Cardi did more decks like this. Another great review for an underrated deck. Thank you - keep up the great work!
This deck is proof of what can be done with a more limited use of metallics. Honestly, with so many decks going over the top with metaluxe, holofoil, cold foil, etc...this restrained application feels like a breath of fresh air.

Just jumping on the band wagon here. Another quality review. This deck goes into deeper detail once you start inspecting the court cards. I have the Seafarers and Maidens deck. Highly recommend this deck. From tuck to the courts it doesn't disappoint. My favorite Joker and The Thief deck is "DYSTOPIA". Sold out and almost impossible to get. Bring on Dystopia if you have it "TCG". Really appreciate all the work you do for us.
Yeah Dystopia is a tough one. Don’t have it yet but I’ll be on the lookout!

I'm probably with you on some of the same Kickstarter campaigns. It's awesome to be a part of decks that are limited and you help get off the ground.

I’m up to 13 campaigns I’m currently awaiting fulfillment on and another few that haven’t ended yet. Sounds kinda nuts when I say it that way.

That tuck seal is kinda weak.
You ain't wrong. I'm starting to hate ALL tuck seals now though...maybe if their individually numbered I would give them a pass, but tuck seals are just an annoying barrier to entry for the deck for me!
