If I had to file/ cut my natural nails I personally would NOT, however I have strong, thick, fast growing natural nails. For anyone that has problems growing desired length it is ok, I encourage you to use tips. Pros and cons come with everything so ask yourself in 2-3 weeks are you willing to grow out your natural nails? Your nails are beautiful and average length. You do beautiful work and I love this set. ❤️
They only put top coat over the bubble nails that they use a different color for! Like white on blue! Then they buff after the first coat of top coat and then top coat it again. If you use the top coat to do the bubble nails on, that's it. No more top coat or it looses it's effect. I am a nail tech and I love your videos! And listening to you chatting away! Lol! Those nails turned out gorgeous! The ombre is perfect! Even before the third coat!

NO!!! Don't cut your nails for the sake of tips!! There are tons of nail channels that cater to tip wearers. It's *SOO REFRESHING* to see a channel that does dipping on natural nails. Its one of the many reasons I enjoy your channel. The health of your nails is far more important than the # of views... No shade to tip lovers at all. When I’ve done tips I don’t cut my nails. Thats just me. Unless if your using a white tip and your going for that french mani. I want to know and haven’t tried it would dip products work with nail forms like standard acrylic does. I know you would be using way more product but just a thought.
I love your nails. Keep them... I used S&C Lux peel base. And I didn't have the best of luck. And had to cut all my nails off. 😢 It could have been do to me, but I tried it two times. It came off in chips and what came off whole tore the tip of my nails off. I may try again once my nails get out long again. I'm going to have to try the brand you are using and see if it works better. Yours looks like you just take it right off . The problem I had to push down with the orange stick on my nail beds. And made them really sore because it felt like they were pulling my nails off. And thank you for another great video. Oh and this mani would make a great baby reveal mani.

Yes they were so cool and I liked how they looked, but I’m with you, I would pry not like the texture. I would’ve had to of put a thicker coat of top coat on so that I could stand to keep the look. She uses the UNT Ready For Takeoff peelable base coat. You can buy it from Amazon for around 8.00 (i think,not quite sure what I paid but it was not expensive!) She mentioned it in another video and I bought it..it works really good! The only bad thing is that your dip nails (or nail polish) will only last 24-48 hours. If your want your mani to last any longer you'll have to skip the peelable base coat and remove your dip nails the usual way. Hope that helps. 😁👍💖

I am late watching this video but I don't get the bubbles. It looks like snake skin instead of bubbles to me. As you were doing it I was thinking no it is going to ruin that pretty ombre. I have never done an ombre like this, may be my next mani.
It really isn’t necessary for you to cut your nails off to do tips. I would only file them a bit shorter. Most nail tips actually fit better on the nail bed, if the natural nail is not filed completely off. A more slender nail is usually created this way, however there are many different types of tips out there for different types of nail beds.
Barbara Rider you’re 100% right - but it’s different for every person bc of the differences in nail shape/size/curve etc. my nails naturally flatten as they grow so there is a gap in the center of my nail if I attempt to use tips I have found some full coverage gel tips that I may be testing out tho!

The shape of your nails are my favorite shape.😍 And you can do the Dual nail forms without cutting your nails! you don't need to cut your nails to do the Dual forms because all this is just the same thing that you do now. You don't have to cut your nails off to use tips.. I never have. I leave my nails at whatever length they are when i decide to use tips and it's always fine..
@@MarlaKris if your worried about the removal there are two options: 1) apply them with gel base coat (and cure) instead of glue for easier soak off or 2) use the glue and still soak them off in acetone. But i guess you could always glue the tips on OVER a layer of peel off base coat as well...
I’ve tried gluing tips on (my hubby lol) over peel off and it just didn’t work well. But I may just glue them on my nails without cutting and see how that goes! Tysm for the recommendations!

Michelle Tate the nails will live to see more dip!! 🤣 Ok - so I kinda started with Kiara sky and then found triple vitamin base, so I just used the KS activator bc it worked lol. Then I started using the gel top coat bc I didn’t really care for dip top coats. So I mix and match but it works for me!! You might find a different combo that works or a whole line that you love, it’s such a personal thing. I suppose this goes to show that you CAN combine different products and still have amazing results! I had one mani last me 19 days (did an experiment) - I’d say it worked out pretty well!

Don’t cut your nails 😥. I love your nails. I have another dumb question. Why do you use different brands base, activator, and top coat. Do you find that they work better seperately vs the whole line that brand offers?
Michelle Tate the nails will live to see more dip!! 🤣 Ok - so I kinda started with Kiara sky and then found triple vitamin base, so I just used the KS activator bc it worked lol. Then I started using the gel top coat bc I didn’t really care for dip top coats. So I mix and match but it works for me!! You might find a different combo that works or a whole line that you love, it’s such a personal thing. I suppose this goes to show that you CAN combine different products and still have amazing results! I had one mani last me 19 days (did an experiment) - I’d say it worked out pretty well!

You don’t need to cut your nails to use tips! I add tips when I’m growing my nails out. They soak off in acetone!
