    Must have! Very well evolved from the generalissimo. I’m glad you’ve put so much effort in this, its a true gem and can’t wait to try it out.

      The learning curve with Magneto is (for me) "medium", which in this case means once installed and the simple Ins and Outs are connected, the unit is immediatly playable. (a good thing)
      More advanced possibilities are easily dialed-in, and if you want crazy weird stuff, just play with it and of course, read the manual. It seems to allow so many possibilities.

    Also, that stereo input module next to Magneto... Are you guys gonna be putting that on the market soon, too?

      This is a prototype at the moment. However we're looking to have that ready within the next couple months. Thanks!

    Pre-order means what, as I how long to you can receive one. Does anyone have any idea when this fabulous module will actually be shipping? Within a month, 1 month, 2 months, or much longer. Please someone answer if any one including Strymon knows.....

      We are looking to start shipping Magneto units during the first week of February (US). International units will make it to dealers around the world within the following 30-60 days. Thanks!

      Thanks for the quick reply :-) Will U.S. dealers have them by Mid February ? Or will we need to order direct from Strymon?

    • @strymon

      We will be sending to dealers, but will depend on which dealers have made orders. Is there a specific dealer you visit? Thanks.

    Could you explain the patch between the qcd and the m32?

    • @strymon
      @strymon  5 лет назад

      The Mother-32's GATE output is sending pulses from its sequencer to the QCD input, then, one of the QCD clock outs is sent to a multi, then, on to the Magneto's CLK IN to control the delay time.

      @@strymon cool, thank you very much for replying, I already got Magneto some time ago from raw voltage in Austria ;-) but why not send the m32 gate out directly to the clk in of Magneto?

    i thought speed of the pause was controlled only by the Pitch/Time knob =-)

    • @strymon
      @strymon  6 лет назад +1

      You can set the SPEED of the PAUSE feature by adjusting the PLAYBACK HEAD 4 knob while the tape has already been paused. Once it has been set, the speed of the pause will remain this way until you adjust it again.
