A wave of nostalgia overtook me watching this video, and I can't help but miss and feel sad about the myth community failing, and especially so sad to see how toxic it really was. Hope the light of it's true potential returns soon, the memories of watching Albert's myth videos when I was younger, when life was more simple just makes me smile to think about. I'm excited to see the new myth if one does come out.
Same here, I had a full sketch book of theory's and would talk to my old friend group for hours at a time about myths. I remember every weekend I'd go to myth groups and play a bunch of myth games for a whole day on my family computer. I even got to meet a few myths in grocery gang and I remember how happy I felt beating fiddlepat in a slap battle, seeing amazook scream at people, or meeting 1_AD in a game and playing with them. The good memories are something I still love but seeing how bad some of the myths I met where is just kinda sad. Hopefully Albert or the community gets a new popular myth that isn't a weirdo or bad person.
righttt there was so much potential :(( i recently found out fiddlepat was problematic and i got so SAD he was one of my favorites (iirc he gaslighted people about mugen and stole games etc etc) fame can only get you so far, and it's so sad that people chose to be horrible when other people looked up to them

As someone who watched these videos an hour after they came out I’m super grateful that he shed some light on why he stopped. I loved these and I’m happy to say to this day I’ll sometimes go back and rewatch them.
The smiles family,chuck lloyd and rust were by far my favorite myths, since we're taking a trip down memory lane, whenever I think of the myths I think of the fact that me and my friends would watch your videos on them and then go play the games and try to uncover stuff for ourselves. It really does bring back memories, the community was so creative, it just kinda sucks that that one writer who helped with alot of them turned out to be horrible. Hopefully in the future myths make a resurgence! I always considered starting my own but I'm not exactly the best at writing horror characters but even if I didnt id love to see more make comebacks/new ones pop up
I've been in the myth community for awhile. I eventually stopped investigating due to the lack of content. During it's prime It was practically a dream to have my own lol. I'd spend days, months, just writing, concept art, and pretending id actually make a myth. I think that was the fun of it. I owe a lot to this fandom. It just really sucks that somebody had to ruin it all. I'll look into the case more, but from Albert said, I think I got the idea. I hope all of the people involved with kazdem minors and not, are able to have a healthy healing. Sorry for the long comment, it's just nice to remember what it was like.thanks for reading.
It was fandoms like this, creepypastas and others that got me into writing to begin with. I also often miss these fandoms and am heartborken at whats become of them, but wish everyone involved the best (except the obvious) and hope they're doing well in life.
I'm happy you did the direct call out especially since you have such a large platform in the community. It sucks that his actions caused a whole like, mini, community to pretty much die out but I'm hopeful that it will start back up especially if you're involved even if it's just you playing the games and posting them. I really miss old myths. Mostly G0Z the clown, the smiles family, and grocery gang. They were literally my comfort videos bc I loved them sm and i'm glad I found them through Albert. G0Z the clown was always my favorite for many reasons. He can be really scary, but also sweet and wholesome. His story is weird and really sad, but his character is actually really amazing because of it. It's such a creative myth in my eyes (but they all are tbh), he's interactive, he's still active sometimes as of 2024, he's got a fun voice, he's friends with other youtubers and alot of other myths are referenced from him, all that jazz. Kaden talked/talks about him alot (I wonder why 🤨) and people are still active at his games too! I actually started a minecraft world with my brother where we're building the circus in the sky in minecraft. We used like 3 packs to get some stuff but mostly not. We've got some good progress done.. (Not close to finished at all pfft) We're so totally set on this >:3
I kid you not I was binge-watching the myth series yesterday. The myth community was so comforting in a way I can't describe. Figuring out clues and being scared about what would come was such a joyride. I really hope more creepypastas and myths appear. However, the sudden toxicity of myths really doesn't give much of an option; maybe they will come back, better. Whatever happens, we are supporting you!
Same i loved being in the community because it had veryyyy little to no drama and when there was drama it was a HUGE problem but we always took care of it in a good way and we went back to being happy

Man, this brings back so many memories. Luckily for me, I had no idea of the reason why the Myth community fell, so I am able to have good memories of these games. I am deeply sorry for whoever had gotten hurt by the myth community.
Myth community fell after Kazdam was exposed for inappropriate actions. This led to the fall of RM and caused Flamingo (the leading source in myth community traffic) to stop making videos

A massive wave of nostalgia hit me while watching this video it genuinely makes me more desperate for the myth community to alive itself again because roblox myths are honestly the best. I didn't know what had happened and I want to thank you Albert for addressing it. It was certainly nice while it lasted. I hope the myth community does become popular again over time.
The myth community was really something special. I remember watching others theories, making my own, and simply exploring…it was for sure the foundation of my storytelling. It’s sad to see it gone and buried, but at least it ever happened at all.
ima be honest if we look back, he met both temperist and Kaden from myth hunting, he got Kaden from helping discover the myths and games and was originally known as the guy with the myth hunter group and temperist was just a fan stalking Albert until they became friends. Truly amazing on what the outcome was. I really hope he does myths again, I get let down to see it happened 3 years ago and to think about what it would be like to hope to see a video or like an update on some weird people and the fact that the community can help also is also amazing. I think the reason why the community could also help with this and the how the myths weren’t staged like whatever Albert knew, the community also knew so I think that was the reason why more people enjoyed it because they could actually make an impact.
I hope the myth community makes a return. We aren't all gone. I have existed for years and hardly anyone has noticed. Just silently making my myth in the background.

Ah yes, I remember quite fondly the era of Roblox Myths. It used to be one of my favorite series that Albert did, so I am excited to hear that it may be returning! What really made the memories come forward was when Albert mentioned his time with Chuck Lloyd. He was, at one point in time, my favorite myth thanks to Albert's video. It is unfortunate to hear why the horror content disappeared due to shenanigans, but it is nice to know why the radio static accured.
I would genuinely sit through an hour of Albert talking about his old myth videos. I think him alternating between talking and gameplay videos is very nice. I seriously hope he can bring a new life to the Roblox Myth community, I've always wanted to see more. Him also addressing what happened with some people involved in a kid-friendly way is very nice to see, instead of just ignoring it entirely. I'm very excited for what the future can hold, keep up the great work old dying elderly man

Me and some friends were making a pretty cool myth, but our motivation really started taking a hit once the community died down. It was mutiple years in the making and some of our own members were failing to show any commitment anymore. Eventually we all kind of made an agreement that our myth would never be finished. If you're curious who we were, you can find a small portion of our history by looking up Aur0raz on Roblox and clicking on the group Hot Water. I might pick up one of my solo myths I stopped working on a little bit ago... but we'll see what the future entails.
I remember I met a lot of friends through myth hunting. I was in this chat group with like 4 other people, and we’d go into random myth games, probably get scared and leave, and then spend hours talking about what the stuff in there could’ve meant. It’s crazy to think all that happened three years ago. So much has changed since then. Me and the people in the group rarely talk to each other, when we do we’re just like “Man, reading all these old chats makes me so nostalgic.” It kinda hurts to know those fun magical mystery solving times are over for us. Maybe, though, there’ll be a time when myths get fired up again and the band can come back together.
Had a group like that myself, not quite with myth games but similar. It’s always sad when something as good as that ends, but I like to think it’s the start of a new era
Used to be in a Myth group and from my experience it was a shame. It was cool to see all the creative crud they made and there was fun times but..things took a turn in a chunk of groups. I'm sure there was better healthier groups that still kept the cool aspects. It just was sad how things ended and what some of them did was proof you'll never fully know someone behind the screen.
I was a part of a myth group too and unless you’re a part of the agents. It’s really boring. They give you boring tasks. I was in the RM scientific department personally.
The problem was it was influenced massively by specific groups which in turn influenced by specific individuals, the mysterious-ness made it worse. That's just my two cents
I had been following the drama, and after I found out just how many myths that person was I was just... I could understand why you stopped, I mean, aligning yourself with stuff like that and then finding out who the person was must've felt horrid. It sucks this happened, I always enjoyed these, in fact I tried making one when I was younger haha, so I hope it comes back eventually.

I still hope it can recover from this though.
I definitely hope that it comes back and you can continue making videos on them. I miss Grocery Gang’s nonsense, or the whole situation with the Days Union, or even the entire thing with Shadelight. I miss those things and doubt that they’ll ever come back thanks to the whole drama, but if they come back or we get brand new ones for Flamgo to look at, joy will resume.
I miss the myth videos so much. The majority of the time I spend on roblox is still myth hunting, even if the myths are discontinued or forgotten. People still join the “Myth Places to Investigate” server. I think that if Albert started making myth videos again, things could start to look up for the myth community.

Here after watching the entire Roblox Myths playlist. I just feel sad that this wonderful thing got ruined. I remember always being upset when Albert would post a scary video because I was too much of a scaredy cat to watch them. I'd start a video and then get scared and turn it off out of fear. Really hoping something comes your way. would be great to see what future myths you might investigate :)

Rust was such an amazing myth, which was so well done. I rewatched it over like 20 times. Some of the myth people were actually like genuinely insane so I'm glad your not putting yourself at risk anymore 😭

OMG, same here! The way RUST made Albert so scared was kinda funny. But how Rust would make the player, the viewer, and Albert scared or on their toes is crazy! The way he had done it was glorious. I genuinley hope for Rust to one day randomly appear again and surprise Albert would excite me.

The nostalgia i felt while watching this was insane I would always looking forward to a myth video is genuinely sad what happened to the myth community I remember I would try to be a myth myself and spend hours coming up with a backstory I hope we do see more videos like those in future as they have always been my favorite type of flamingo videos
The Saint Abida Tribe has been making a drastic amount of progress (although it is not a myth anymore, but a story game); you'd love to see it. There's plenty of other amazing groups out there that deserve some attention; and you're the reason that the Myth Community got it's massive upbringing initially. With your assistance, you can bring it back. Hopefully you'll decide to do so.
I'm glad that you've made this video talking about myths and stuff! I've been in the myth community for over 3 years now, and I've seen it go downhill and get better at times. Myths can be so much fun to hunt and can be extremely creative! There's some out there that definitely deserve the recognition and are ran by great people I believe! Also myth hunting can be great as long as you do your research on them first (which is what I recommend everyone does) and you stick around with the right people, then it can be an absolute blast! I've honestly had one of the best times ever on roblox hunting myths!
As much as I LOVED the myth videos, I respect how honest he is and he’s sincere about his reasoning. I would do anything to see another myth video though.
I used to make Myth games, usually not that popular (about 4k visits in total on average) and it’s definitely a time investment to make such games but it’s very enjoyable. I didn’t interact much with the community other then a few other smaller myths. The only real issue I experienced was that the myth groups got saturated with a lot of people who didn’t know how to build and script which in itself isn’t bad, however it did really make it hard for games that took a really long time to develop to really go unnoticed which I found rather sad cause I have personally investigated and made such games and they always die around 1-4k visits because the groups are really saturated. I know that the likelihood of someone reading this is small but making myth games was really enjoyable and I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.

I am one of many that have been trying to make my own myth and the death of the myth community really demotivated a lot of us to stop, I kept trying until it seemed like there was no point anymore. This video has reassured me that the community can be revived! Thank you for this motivation.

I had met someone a while ago. His name was DHolsby and we made a "myth" group and because I had absolutely nothing to do at the time, I volunteered to help him become a myth to the very end. We got some more members and made a family manor (not very original but it was his idea and I just supported it thoroughly). After some while we never really got traction, we tried to advertise on myth hunter groups but nothing worked. We changed our myths many times and the latest one was about many different kind of creatures in a cave, we even got in contact with a pretty popular Myth Museum creator. In the end, we never really became successful but it was really fun trying. We have fallen off and went on our separate ways but kept in contact to play together once in a while :)

I really thankful he’s talking about this, and trying to take action after that event The myth community was an amazing community so many great videos, and even great people came from it. Sadly since Kazdam already had a big influence the the community before, things really went downhill after the incident. I really hope the myth community makes a comeback, I remember being so invested in the series, binge watching the whole thing, and to the point once I was a myth hunter. Honestly I’m really greatful that many people in the comment section are hoping for a return of the series, and more myths groups, hunters, and of course myths. thanks for this video, maybe a start to bring it back up. I was in a myth group once, and the leader was genuinely interesting. I think they had mental health problems and eventually left roblox, leaving behind a forgotten legacy. I accidentally unfriended him but am still in his group, but I'll never really forget him.
Your videos introduced me to the myth community on roblox and I clearly remember getting so excited whenever you would post a myth video. I honestly kinda hope the myth community can get a revival that would be so much fun. If I could write a good myth and get people to work on games just to get it back I would :').
I grew up on your myth videos and I loved seeing you investigate them with the community that in fact I loved them so much that I started investigating myths and even finding smaller ones and still investigate them to this day. I really hope you start making them again.
Even though I was “late” to experience Albert doing myth videos, I still really enjoyed them. Im sad to hear that a good thing ended because of bad intentions but all good things don’t last. I still love watching myth videos because spooky things just interest me, and myths videos are all about spookiness. I was also surprised how creative people could be when creating these myths. I loved watching Albert getting scared from the games. I loved the Cult and Smiles families. I do hope to see more myth videos in the near future and come back to an era that we all loved but I do understand if it was not safe. Thank you for this wonderful experience Albert😍!
I'm pretty sure he talked about this handful of months ago. That's unfortunate since they were so popular and was a great source of publicity. It was also a good way to make good relationships with interesting people. No matter what, we will always support you and your content, Albert. Me and a friend talked about this a month ago I'm pretty sure, and we both have a great understanding of why you don't do the videos anymore despite not knowing you personally. From what happened in 2020 in the community (the kazdam thing) we know that you didn't make much more videos on them because you didn't want to accidentally entangled in the mess that would ensue or get those kinds of people popular. If you're gonna continue these type of videos in the near future a 'myth' I recommend for them is The Void Cult, they're pretty fun to interact with. Glad you actually talked about this after so long, if you don't continue these videos its completely understandable why, but they were kinda peak roblox for me. Good luck on your possible future encounters.
i was (unfortunately) too late to enter the myth community. by the time i had discovered them, it's prime had already ended and the myth community was in its darkest depths. i tried making one but i just couldn't make a game even if i had all the lore i wanted, lol. i encouraged a lot of people abt roblox myths bc they are genuinely so interesting to me- a mini "detective" case that you could look into for free, real time. i adore myths, and it played a big role in making who i am today. the first time i've ever heard of myths was with albert's chuck lloyd series, and although i was scared at the time, i couldn't stop watching them. afterwards came the smiles family, then other myths and such. i'm so glad that myths aren't completely forgotten, and i would love to see new ones. thanks for reading this message from me, lmao.

As a, somewhat popular, member of the myth community, it would honestly be amazing if you returned. I said it before but I'll say it again, a great way to discover new myths is to go in RMH's shouts, or ranked members. A LOT of them are really good myths. Some are meh, but overall I think you'd enjoy them. Some good ones I'd suggest are: Modizzhend Addec HarryEdvort (Edvorts Family Pumpkin Patch) Aticaus etc.
I made a myth in 2020, the Keys Family. Some drama happened, some bad people got involved and I got sick of it. I left it alone and it died out. I’m working on another myth this time around, I really miss this part of the Roblox community.

i almost cried when i saw this video pop up, roblox myths have been my hyperfixation for 5 years and im so happy that we finally get an update on it. it makes me sad knowing some of my favorite myths have ended up being bad people and we dont really get any positive mentions on them anymore, im still thankful that you even started this whole series and its really changed my life for the better
I’ve been in the myth community for just a few years, it’s cool to see you talk about it again! If you were to produce videos on ROBLOX myths, I would highly recommend having someone you know do some research on their character so you know they’re not a weirdo before you make a video on them. That is all!
I watched all of his myth videos when they came out, but the best myth has to be the smiles family. It was genuinely amazing and actually made me shed a tear at the end of it. I got connected to the story and characters it was amazing.
I had a myth that was gaining minor popularity about 2 years back. Had a great story and everything, but motivation is the only thing that keeps a myth going. As motivation slipped away, I just kinda disappeared. Buddies that were myths as well either got banned or became inactive. The community was already half dead when I joined it, and it’s even sadder to see it now.
If you’re looking for a myth to investigate, the cult family is really building back up their community and story. I’d love to see you make videos on them again.
Thank you for making this video Albert. As someone who's been harmed by a myth in the community it's needed for a callout and to tell people it's only a minority who's bad. I still have a love for the community and have tried myself at making my own myth to build up the community and to make more positivity but it's very hard to do so when most people in the fandom are under the impression it's "a bad community and full of pedos or homophobes". It's honestly a beautiful still with amazing fandom with really passionate and talented people who are in it but Because of kaz, du, grocery gang, and a few others it's made the community hate all myths and snowballed into a huge problem of witch-hunting. People need to still know it's ok to be a myth and that it's still ok to be in the community, Just Becuase there's a few bad eggs doesn't mean it's all bad we just need to reach more people and tell them it's ok. More popular people who know about myths need to make these type of videos where it's not just mentioned throughout in the in middle of a different video it's need it's own topic since it's an issue that's mostly snowballed into a horrible thing and hasn't stopped seeing the bureau of myths fall and how inactive the myths servers have been/become. This probably wasn't easy for you to make and I genuinely hope you find a myth you like and isn't a bad person and hopefully soon people can get the memo it's not all evil, it's just the fact is the myths who where bad where friend groups of people who where already horrible and got some talent. It's not your fault for this Albert nor is it kadens or anyone else's for myths being such a bad thing, its just people who used others to get to fame than fell Because people wanted to see justice. Even after all the bad ones where ratted out though they just kept witch-hunting till the community was too scared to come out again and show true potential. I know I can never get back what I lost to a myth who hurt me but I know that I still love the community and it doesn't deserve to burn like it is and be so hidden away from media Becuase of the fear people will burn it down or call them out for being bad. Kazdam isn't the only person who made it fall, it was the people too who decided to never stop the witch-hunt even when they reached the end.
This memory took me down a whole field of emotions. Remembering the myth community and where I got most of my inspo/ imagination from myth stories and the lore of each character. I am so grateful for when I was in the community (still is). I love them and to this day I am still exploring them. I also used to really binge your videos when I ever felt sad or even bullied at school and I remember I used to get happy when seeing a notification that you made a video on a myth. Thank you albert for the memory lane type video and you have always been a HUGE inspo growing up (even when you do crazy things)
Thank you for addressing all this, I myself wanted to become a myth and still plan to do so even if It’s not popular It’s such a shame that Kazdam had such a heavy influence that everything stopped once that incident happened, but I really hope the myths will be revived one day
I hate to see the myth community wounded in such a way. You Albert inspired me so much with those videos, and now as a teenager with more knowledge, motivation, and creativity. Hopefully I can become a pretty enigmatic myth of my own, and help the myth community by being a positive or neutral figure within it in the somewhat near future.
yeah i hope that with alberts help the myth community can eventually recover well. it seems like there is a handful of people willing to be myths (like u and me and some other yt commenters here) so hopefully the community can go back to being something fun and spooky without bad people like that :)
My friend has just started a myth account with his other friend! The account is called PR0SP3C_T! It’s based on sort of an alternate reality sort of thing. Bear in mind this is the beginning so nothings perfect but I think the lores good! He’s also got a game up and working on more! Maybe you wanna investigate/ work with him ? I remember a few years back where one october the only videos you made were either horror or myth videos (even though none of them had a conclusion, other than smiles family), and i still rewatch them from time to time. Im glad to hear you want to start this back up, hope this works out
I remember getting into the myth community. There was some family that I found that genuinely scared me, and I left for a few years then came back, and they were in, like, generation 3. Their game is no longer active, but seeing how much everything has changed over the span of a few years is insane. I met someone who I still talk to this day from that place. But I wouldn't go back, not without someone who was there with me during that time.

Myth videos are what got me into horror. I love watching videos where you tubers talk about the different phases and eras of their channel that make them who they are now. Keep up the good work I hope the community sees this video and is motivated to grow.
I've started rewatching myth videos recently, especially the g0z ones and I have to say that those were the best times I've had watching flamingo. The pure fear he felt from those and the amount of lore behind the characters was just so perfect, I wish the community wasn't so dead on RUclips now.
This feels like closure, in a way. I really enjoy this relaxed style of commentary videos that you’ve been making really, I look forward to maybe a new beginning, a new wave of non-problematic developers being inspired to make a myth.
kinda goodnews about the myth community, I've been a part of it since 2019 so I was sad to see it hit rock bottom, although more recently I've been spotting more myth videos and investigation videos pop up and old myths like good puffer get some more spotlight, I think the myth community it starting up a bit and it might be cool to see flamingo investigate some more of them, I heard some myths also use voice chat to make the experience cooler ^^ im pretty sure there was a comment on one of alberts videos listing a bunch of myths but I cant find it, would've listed them here but yeah, if you look hard enough the community is growing a bit again
i’m really happy that he spoke up about this, especially because of how bad some of the people in the RMC community are. i also really hope he finds some new myths to make videos on, because i think that type of content is really interesting. :)
ive been trying to make my own myth for over a year ish and like. generally speaking the community really put me off, it just makes me sad dude. tbh you were the one who got me into myths to begin with, as for a lot of others i've seen trying to build up their own stuff atm, itd be nice to see something pop up again like ur myth hunting series :) i think it'd bring back a lot of the positivity people used to have around myths, even if a lot went wrong before.
I saw a recent comment on the roblox creepypasta wiki of a dude asking to start a myth family and a bunch of people joined, felt melancholy with how desolate the community became. I think by now roblox has moved on and a lot of its history and culture is just dead in the water. Nice to look back, but there are few people who still seem to care
Ive been talking about the myth community for years, sharing memories with friends from your old videos, about to go binge watch them again now knowing there's entire playlists, i'd love to see it come back, its a shame it had to end how it did, I always wondered why you just upped and stopped making videos on them, I still think about the door in Chucks basement and where the story couldve went, if you're able to find anything interesting im sure the community would eat it up :))

Im so sad of what has become of the myth community, it was genuinely so fun and I hope it comes back. Its sad we may and probably will never get endings for those myths but I guess its for the best. Im also sad abt the fact the myth community died before the myth I was in could actually develop our myth fully.. but im glad you've spoken up about this since not that many big creators are. :)

I was genuinely interested in Chuck's lore and I remembered being so excited because the last video of his myth was, him and Albert talking about how they're going to some library? i think (i forgot). I'm still so curious about it and I do wish for myths to rise again and have lores as scary and mysterious as Chuck's.
i just investigated a myth yesterday Something about a sister named Himari and a brother named Himimari. I noticed bodies appearing and dissapearing with a creepy meat shop. Honestly their personality and conversations scared the crap out of me. Its like lone-traveler and Goz but siblings. Reccomend checking them out.
A wave of nostalgia overtook me watching this video, and I can't help but miss and feel sad about the myth community failing, and especially so sad to see how toxic it really was. Hope the light of it's true potential returns soon, the memories of watching Albert's myth videos when I was younger, when life was more simple just makes me smile to think about. I'm excited to see the new myth if one does come out.

Same here, I had a full sketch book of theory's and would talk to my old friend group for hours at a time about myths. I remember every weekend I'd go to myth groups and play a bunch of myth games for a whole day on my family computer. I even got to meet a few myths in grocery gang and I remember how happy I felt beating fiddlepat in a slap battle, seeing amazook scream at people, or meeting 1_AD in a game and playing with them. The good memories are something I still love but seeing how bad some of the myths I met where is just kinda sad. Hopefully Albert or the community gets a new popular myth that isn't a weirdo or bad person.

The smiles family,chuck lloyd and rust were by far my favorite myths, since we're taking a trip down memory lane, whenever I think of the myths I think of the fact that me and my friends would watch your videos on them and then go play the games and try to uncover stuff for ourselves. It really does bring back memories, the community was so creative, it just kinda sucks that that one writer who helped with alot of them turned out to be horrible.
Hopefully in the future myths make a resurgence! I always considered starting my own but I'm not exactly the best at writing horror characters but even if I didnt id love to see more make comebacks/new ones pop up

I've been in the myth community for awhile. I eventually stopped investigating due to the lack of content. During it's prime It was practically a dream to have my own lol. I'd spend days, months, just writing, concept art, and pretending id actually make a myth. I think that was the fun of it. I owe a lot to this fandom. It just really sucks that somebody had to ruin it all. I'll look into the case more, but from Albert said, I think I got the idea. I hope all of the people involved with kazdem minors and not, are able to have a healthy healing. Sorry for the long comment, it's just nice to remember what it was like.thanks for reading.

I really miss old myths. Mostly G0Z the clown, the smiles family, and grocery gang. They were literally my comfort videos bc I loved them sm and i'm glad I found them through Albert. G0Z the clown was always my favorite for many reasons. He can be really scary, but also sweet and wholesome. His story is weird and really sad, but his character is actually really amazing because of it. It's such a creative myth in my eyes (but they all are tbh), he's interactive, he's still active sometimes as of 2024, he's got a fun voice, he's friends with other youtubers and alot of other myths are referenced from him, all that jazz. Kaden talked/talks about him alot (I wonder why 🤨) and people are still active at his games too! I actually started a minecraft world with my brother where we're building the circus in the sky in minecraft. We used like 3 packs to get some stuff but mostly not. We've got some good progress done.. (Not close to finished at all pfft) We're so totally set on this >:3

Figuring out clues and being scared about what would come was such a joyride. I really hope more creepypastas and myths appear. Man, this brings back so many memories. Luckily for me, I had no idea of the reason why the Myth community fell, so I am able to have good memories of these games. I am deeply sorry for whoever had gotten hurt by the myth community.
Myth community fell after Kazdam was exposed for inappropriate actions. This led to the fall of RM and caused Flamingo (the leading source in myth community traffic) to stop making videos

The myth community was really something special. I remember watching others theories, making my own, and simply exploring…it was for sure the foundation of my storytelling. It’s sad to see it gone and buried, but at least it ever happened at all.

ima be honest if we look back, he met both temperist and Kaden from myth hunting, he got Kaden from helping discover the myths and games and was originally known as the guy with the myth hunter group and temperist was just a fan stalking Albert until they became friends. Truly amazing on what the outcome was. I really hope he does myths again, I get let down to see it happened 3 years ago and to think about what it would be like to hope to see a video or like an update on some weird people and the fact that the community can help also is also amazing. I think the reason why the community could also help with this and the how the myths weren’t staged like whatever Albert knew, the community also knew so I think that was the reason why more people enjoyed it because they could actually make an impact.

Ah yes, I remember quite fondly the era of Roblox Myths. It used to be one of my favorite series that Albert did, so I am excited to hear that it may be returning! What really made the memories come forward was when Albert mentioned his time with Chuck Lloyd. He was, at one point in time, my favorite myth thanks to Albert's video. It is unfortunate to hear why the horror content disappeared due to shenanigans, but it is nice to know why the radio static accured.

Me and some friends were making a pretty cool myth, but our motivation really started taking a hit once the community died down. It was mutiple years in the making and some of our own members were failing to show any commitment anymore. Eventually we all kind of made an agreement that our myth would never be finished. If you're curious who we were, you can find a small portion of our history by looking up Aur0raz on Roblox and clicking on the group Hot Water. I might pick up one of my solo myths I stopped working on a little bit ago... but we'll see what the future entails.

I remember I met a lot of friends through myth hunting. I was in this chat group with like 4 other people, and we’d go into random myth games, probably get scared and leave, and then spend hours talking about what the stuff in there could’ve meant. It’s crazy to think all that happened three years ago. So much has changed since then. Me and the people in the group rarely talk to each other, when we do we’re just like “Man, reading all these old chats makes me so nostalgic.” It kinda hurts to know those fun magical mystery solving times are over for us. Maybe, though, there’ll be a time when myths get fired up again and the band can come back together.

I had been following the drama, and after I found out just how many myths that person was I was just... I could understand why you stopped, I mean, aligning yourself with stuff like that and then finding out who the person was must've felt horrid. I definitely hope that it comes back and you can continue making videos on them. I miss Grocery Gang’s nonsense, or the whole situation with the Days Union, or even the entire thing with Shadelight. I miss those things and doubt that they’ll ever come back thanks to the whole drama, but if they come back or we get brand new ones for Flamgo to look at, joy will resume.

I miss the myth videos so much. The majority of the time I spend on roblox is still myth hunting, even if the myths are discontinued or forgotten. People still join the “Myth Places to Investigate” server. I think that if Albert started making myth videos again, things could start to look up for the myth community.

Here after watching the entire Roblox Myths playlist. I just feel sad that this wonderful thing got ruined. I remember always being upset when Albert would post a scary video because I was too much of a scaredy cat to watch them. I'd start a video and then get scared and turn it off out of fear. Really hoping something comes your way. would be great to see what future myths you might investigate :)

Rust was such an amazing myth, which was so well done. I rewatched it over like 20 times. Some of the myth people were actually like genuinely insane so I'm glad your not putting yourself at risk anymore 😭

OMG, same here! The way RUST made Albert so scared was kinda funny. But how Rust would make the player, the viewer, and Albert scared or on their toes is crazy! The way he had done it was glorious. I genuinley hope for Rust to one day randomly appear again and surprise Albert would excite me.

The nostalgia i felt while watching this was insane I would always looking forward to a myth video is genuinely sad what happened to the myth community I remember I would try to be a myth myself and spend hours coming up with a backstory I hope we do see more videos like those in future as they have always been my favorite type of flamingo videos
The Saint Abida Tribe has been making a drastic amount of progress (although it is not a myth anymore, but a story game); you'd love to see it. There's plenty of other amazing groups out there that deserve some attention; and you're the reason that the Myth Community got it's massive upbringing initially. it's so sad to see the myth community fall, it literally made my childhood at one point, but Albert you're fans are all with you so it's okay.
I'm glad that you've made this video talking about myths and stuff! I've been in the myth community for over 3 years now, and I've seen it go downhill and get better at times. Myths can be so much fun to hunt and can be extremely creative! There's some out there that definitely deserve the recognition and are ran by great people I believe! Also myth hunting can be great as long as you do your research on them first (which is what I recommend everyone does) and you stick around with the right people, then it can be an absolute blast! I've honestly had one of the best times ever on roblox hunting myths!

As much as I LOVED the myth videos, I respect how honest he is and he’s sincere about his reasoning. I would do anything to see another myth video though.
I used to make Myth games, usually not that popular (about 4k visits in total on average) and it’s definitely a time investment to make such games but it’s very enjoyable. I didn’t interact much with the community other then a few other smaller myths.
The only real issue I experienced was that the myth groups got saturated with a lot of people who didn’t know how to build and script which in itself isn’t bad, however it did really make it hard for games that took a really long time to develop to really go unnoticed which I found rather sad cause I have personally investigated and made such games and they always die around 1-4k visits because the groups are really saturated.
I know that the likelihood of someone reading this is small but making myth games was really enjoyable and I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.

the myth also still holds a special place in my heart, i've been waiting for an update on any roblox myth knowing nothing will come up but i'm really hopeful it does. that era was absolutely amazing, i love it.
I am one of many that have been trying to make my own myth and the death of the myth community really demotivated a lot of us to stop, I kept trying until it seemed like there was no point anymore. This video has reassured me that the community can be revived! Thank you for this motivation.

I had met someone a while ago. His name was DHolsby and we made a "myth" group and because I had absolutely nothing to do at the time, I volunteered to help him become a myth to the very end. We got some more members and made a family manor (not very original but it was his idea and I just supported it thoroughly). After some while we never really got traction, we tried to advertise on myth hunter groups but nothing worked. We changed our myths many times and the latest one was about many different kind of creatures in a cave, we even got in contact with a pretty popular Myth Museum creator. In the end, we never really became successful but it was really fun trying. We have fallen off and went on our separate ways but kept in contact to play together once in a while :)

The myth community was an amazing community so many great videos, and even great people came from it.
Sadly since Kazdam already had a big influence the the community before, things really went downhill after the incident.

I was in a myth group once, and the leader was genuinely interesting. I think they had mental health problems and eventually left roblox, leaving behind a forgotten legacy. I accidentally unfriended him but am still in his group, but I'll never really forget him.
Your videos introduced me to the myth community on roblox and I clearly remember getting so excited whenever you would post a myth video. I honestly kinda hope the myth community can get a revival that would be so much fun. If I could write a good myth and get people to work on games just to get it back I would :').
i love the fact that despite the myth community slowly dying, Albert gave us an experience we'll never forget and it'll always feel nostalgic to me

Even though I was “late” to experience Albert doing myth videos, I still really enjoyed them. Im sad to hear that a good thing ended because of bad intentions but all good things don’t last. I still love watching myth videos because spooky things just interest me, and myths videos are all about spookiness. I was also surprised how creative people could be when creating these myths. I loved watching Albert getting scared from the games. I loved the Cult and Smiles families. I do hope to see more myth videos in the near future and come back to an era that we all loved but I do understand if it was not safe. Thank you for this wonderful experience Albert😍!
I'm pretty sure he talked about this handful of months ago. That's unfortunate since they were so popular and was a great source of publicity. It was also a good way to make good relationships with interesting people. No matter what, we will always support you and your content, Albert. Me and a friend talked about this a month ago I'm pretty sure, and we both have a great understanding of why you don't do the videos anymore despite not knowing you personally. From what happened in 2020 in the community (the kazdam thing) we know that you didn't make much more videos on them because you didn't want to accidentally entangled in the mess that would ensue or get those kinds of people popular. If you're gonna continue these type of videos in the near future a 'myth' I recommend for them is The Void Cult, they're pretty fun to interact with. Glad you actually talked about this after so long, if you don't continue these videos its completely understandable why, but they were kinda peak roblox for me. Good luck on your possible future encounters.

i was (unfortunately) too late to enter the myth community. by the time i had discovered them, it's prime had already ended and the myth community was in its darkest depths. i tried making one but i just couldn't make a game even if i had all the lore i wanted, lol. i encouraged a lot of people abt roblox myths bc they are genuinely so interesting to me- a mini "detective" case that you could look into for free, real time. i adore myths, and it played a big role in making who i am today. the first time i've ever heard of myths was with albert's chuck lloyd series, and although i was scared at the time, i couldn't stop watching them. afterwards came the smiles family, then other myths and such. i'm so glad that myths aren't completely forgotten, and i would love to see new ones. thanks for reading this message from me, lmao.

I said it before but I'll say it again, a great way to discover new myths is to go in RMH's shouts, or ranked members. A LOT of them are really good myths. I made a myth in 2020, the Keys Family. Some drama happened, some bad people got involved and I got sick of it. I left it alone and it died out. I’m working on another myth this time around, I really miss this part of the Roblox community.

i almost cried when i saw this video pop up, roblox myths have been my hyperfixation for 5 years and im so happy that we finally get an update on it.
it makes me sad knowing some of my favorite myths have ended up being bad people and we dont really get any positive mentions on them anymore, im still thankful that you even started this whole series and its really changed my life for the better
I’ve been in the myth community for just a few years, it’s cool to see you talk about it again! If you were to produce videos on ROBLOX myths, I would highly recommend having someone you know do some research on their character so you know they’re not a weirdo before you make a video on them. That is all!
I watched all of his myth videos when they came out, but the best myth has to be the smiles family. It was genuinely amazing and actually made me shed a tear at the end of it. I got connected to the story and characters it was amazing.

I had a myth that was gaining minor popularity about 2 years back. Had a great story and everything, but motivation is the only thing that keeps a myth going. As motivation slipped away, I just kinda disappeared. Buddies that were myths as well either got banned or became inactive. The community was already half dead when I joined it, and it’s even sadder to see it now.

Thank you for making this video Albert. As someone who's been harmed by a myth in the community it's needed for a callout and to tell people it's only a minority who's bad. I still have a love for the community and have tried myself at making my own myth to build up the community and to make more positivity but it's very hard to do so when most people in the fandom are under the impression it's "a bad community and full of pedos or homophobes". It's honestly a beautiful still with amazing fandom with really passionate and talented people who are in it but Because of kaz, du, grocery gang, and a few others it's made the community hate all myths and snowballed into a huge problem of witch-hunting. People need to still know it's ok to be a myth and that it's still ok to be in the community, Just Becuase there's a few bad eggs doesn't mean it's all bad we just need to reach more people and tell them it's ok. More popular people who know about myths need to make these type of videos where it's not just mentioned throughout in the in middle of a different video it's need it's own topic since it's an issue that's mostly snowballed into a horrible thing and hasn't stopped seeing the bureau of myths fall and how inactive the myths servers have been/become. This probably wasn't easy for you to make and I genuinely hope you find a myth you like and isn't a bad person and hopefully soon people can get the memo it's not all evil, it's just the fact is the myths who where bad where friend groups of people who where already horrible and got some talent. It's not your fault for this Albert nor is it kadens or anyone else's for myths being such a bad thing, its just people who used others to get to fame than fell Because people wanted to see justice. Even after all the bad ones where ratted out though they just kept witch-hunting till the community was too scared to come out again and show true potential. I know I can never get back what I lost to a myth who hurt me but I know that I still love the community and it doesn't deserve to burn like it is and be so hidden away from media Becuase of the fear people will burn it down or call them out for being bad. Kazdam isn't the only person who made it fall, it was the people too who decided to never stop the witch-hunt even when they reached the end.

This memory took me down a whole field of emotions. Remembering the myth community and where I got most of my inspo/ imagination from myth stories and the lore of each character. I am so grateful for when I was in the community (still is). I love them and to this day I am still exploring them. I also used to really binge your videos when I ever felt sad or even bullied at school and I remember I used to get happy when seeing a notification that you made a video on a myth. Thank you albert for the memory lane type video and you have always been a HUGE inspo growing up (even when you do crazy things)

I remember a few years back where one october the only videos you made were either horror or myth videos (even though none of them had a conclusion, other than smiles family), and i still rewatch them from time to time. Im glad to hear you want to start this back up, hope this works out
I remember getting into the myth community. There was some family that I found that genuinely scared me, and I left for a few years then came back, and they were in, like, generation 3.
Their game is no longer active, but seeing how much everything has changed over the span of a few years is insane. I met someone who I still talk to this day from that place. But I wouldn't go back, not without someone who was there with me during that time.

Myth videos are what got me into horror. I love watching videos where you tubers talk about the different phases and eras of their channel that make them who they are now. Keep up the good work I hope the community sees this video and is motivated to grow.
I've started rewatching myth videos recently, especially the g0z ones and I have to say that those were the best times I've had watching flamingo. The pure fear he felt from those and the amount of lore behind the characters was just so perfect, I wish the community wasn't so dead on RUclips now.
This feels like closure, in a way. I really enjoy this relaxed style of commentary videos that you’ve been making really, I look forward to maybe a new beginning, a new wave of non-problematic developers being inspired to make a myth.

kinda goodnews about the myth community, I've been a part of it since 2019 so I was sad to see it hit rock bottom, although more recently I've been spotting more myth videos and investigation videos pop up and old myths like good puffer get some more spotlight, I think the myth community it starting up a bit and it might be cool to see flamingo investigate some more of them, I heard some myths also use voice chat to make the experience cooler ^^
im pretty sure there was a comment on one of alberts videos listing a bunch of myths but I cant find it, would've listed them here but yeah, if you look hard enough the community is growing a bit again

I saw a recent comment on the roblox creepypasta wiki of a dude asking to start a myth family and a bunch of people joined, felt melancholy with how desolate the community became. I think by now roblox has moved on and a lot of its history and culture is just dead in the water. Nice to look back, but there are few people who still seem to care

Ive been talking about the myth community for years, sharing memories with friends from your old videos, about to go binge watch them again now knowing there's entire playlists, i'd love to see it come back, its a shame it had to end how it did, I always wondered why you just upped and stopped making videos on them, I still think about the door in Chucks basement and where the story couldve went, if you're able to find anything interesting im sure the community would eat it up :))

I'm still so annoyed. I was genuinely interested in Chuck's lore and I remembered being so excited because the last video of his myth was, him and Albert talking about how they're going to some library? i think (i forgot).
I'm still so curious about it and I do wish for myths to rise again and have lores as scary and mysterious as Chuck's.

Honestly their personality and conversations scared the crap out of me.
