Great stuff as always and a sweet king! Interesting that you use 4oz of lead and I get it. Myself, no weight as I let the plug tell where bottom was. Low tide in the morn later in the week help learn this. My first week ever on the Duwamish and it was super fun except a few very rude people. That was me at 12:42 rowing the pontoon. Looking forward to your next video.
@@fishingwithseabass do you know how long and what days the hill netting goes on. We couldn't get up the river on Tuesday because they put a net completely across the river. The other nets at least left a pathway. But one was blocking access further up past the Boeing bridge.
@@fishingwithseabass I love my mag lips and Brads Wigglers, my question is for you bud, which size wiggler are you using for this setup. Getting ready for this year….missed last year. I heard you say 4Oz…..I used no weight at all. That’s a big difference ! My guess is that you have a lot less line out than me as more line creates more dive. I get that you find bottom and reel up from there, but the plug dives (quite a bit ) so why is it that the plug is not always digging into the bottom with your set up? I see that it works, just trying to learn. I got fish with no weight and enjoy fishing any species with no weight if possible. Thanks and hope to see you out there. Last…prefered tides?
Hi Drew!! Yes I did. There was really no other place to fish other than above the nets but I still got some fish that were willing to bite 😄 how did you do??
I think he is talking about the one under 509. Google says its permanently closed. The one in South park under 16th is a private marina launch not open to the public. I drove by the one under 509 and didn't see any closure posted so I'm not sure what is going on.
@@roncoates6129 It is Native boat launch but public are allowed to use it . No the Closer did not effect that launch at all do to native netting season, but it just hard to find parking. It is OPEN to the public
The natives there were nice too, a guy moored his sailboat at the launch for a few minutes and came back and the tide went out so fast that his sailboat was beached sideways on the launch. And when the tide came in his boat was SUNK !!!!!! Be careful.
Hey seabass, I need a fishing report on the duwamish. I'm gonna bring my 73 year old dad down to troll some plugs this Saturday. They still biting? Thank you
Hey seabass we hit 17 in 2 days down there. This is Ryan the dude in the black flat bottom sled. I wanted to thank you for the plug color. I hope the tips I gave you help up your fish game. You got a good thing going bud. Keep slaying!
It depends on you set up, doubles check on the rules and regulation trouble are allowed on plugs but if you're running Corky or eggs I don't believe so
Is this river any good when they are netting. When up there a couple days ago and didn’t catch anything. Do you know what days they net? Can’t find the info...
If you go up past all the nets there is a nice stretch of fishing. Weve caught quite a few fish while the nets were up. They usually net everyday besides friday and saturday. They pick up nets friday then drop them at 8am Sunday.
I ran the jet sled from Seattle to Tukwila up and down that area tried twitching jigs, plugs, spinners, bobber and bait. They were jumping everywhere but they are NOT biting..... maybe because of the maze of nets they have to make it through. They are too stressed out.
Sorry im catching fish and thats offending you... The fishery is really good and just wanted to spread the opportunity to others around me. Im not selfish like you. Also more than half the people around me arent catching anything because they arent using the right gear.

About how fast do you troll when trolling those plugs? Or is it more so line angle you watch?
Great job slaying them!

Awesome video, that was really cool of you to give advice to people on the water. Fish on :)
when will you start and stop fishing in this fishery?
it depend on what run and season, some run last longer then others and every year its a slight different when they start coming in.
Hey sea bass. Saw you out there today, i was out there in the blue drift boat. Did you go up above when the nets went in?

Fishing with Seabass probably should have gone up there as well. I stayed low by the launch and went 0 for 3 😒
Great stuff man! What size cannonball are you running to get your plug down?

Thanks for the vid! You ever drift the upper? Whitney to 18?
No not yet, but I have plans in the future.
Where on the green river can you bank fish bobber doggin eggs?
Are you familiar fire station and the Community Center ?
those are my 2 favorite bobber spot for kings
No not familiar but I’m sure I could google them. You can bank fish from there? I’d be floating eggs.
What city is the fire station and community center in? Tukwila?
Thank you in advance for the advise.
Nice job seabass and thanks for sharing! I subbed.

river right now are still loaded with fish, if you go out now youll find chum and coho up and down the river
What is the plug call?
Gonna be out there this weekend and I am rematching to pick up some tips.
Have you been out recently? Tips?
Can you use treble hook or you need to switch it?
