F4F-4 WildCat - 1/48 Tamiya. My first Wildcat ever, this kit came with all the rivets you need. But the decal was a nightmare. Take a lot of time to make it settle in. Overall great and enjoy the kit.

This video came across while surfing RUclips…..honestly it is a magnificent job, building and painting…I didn’t notice the wrong sequence of the color on the scheme until someone pointed you out…but except for that, the whole techniques you used throughout the process are amazing…Great work 👍👍👍

Great use of panel liner in the end, but do you do the WHOLE model or part (like say, the wing -> then fuselage -> other wing)??

Well done work. I applaud you. The camo is forgivable since every Wildcat runs the gamut of colors. Navy was short on money and color palette ranges widely throughout what we see.
Have you done any other Wildcats and can you compare and contrast their builds?

I think you painted it wrong. The top of the fuselage and the tops of the wings and horizontal stabilyzer should be the darker blue and the fuselage sides should be the intermediate blue.

Oh my i just realize that too. Ouch :( thank you for pointing it out. The darker color should be on top and lighter should be in the middle :(
