This is literally the resurgence of Twinkie Clark. Her 2nd wind. You can see in the last clips of her singing, she’s singing with more intention, and making great use of the instrument she has!
One thing I've noticed is that Twinkie doesn't lower the key or use her lower register when she can no longer hit the notes. A lot of singers will adjust to their changing voice. I guess Twinkie said, "Look! I'm Twinkie Clark and this is how I used to sing so I ain't changing nothing!" I ain't mad. But I've always wondered in the later years why she doesn't lower the key on songs when she sings lead. That would make such a difference. She still has great vocal ability, but sometimes she's goes for notes that aren't there.
The plan was for Ki ki to finish the song. Ki ki and her twin were talking before Twinkie even played. Twinkie did ok to me praising the Lord 🙏. I was blessed by the whole song either way. People are so critical frfr!!!
Evan. Twinkie sounds great. I personally think her sisters trying to encourage her to sing more like she did. Those of us that grew up with Clark Sisters back in the day and the Dr. Mattie Moss Clark era Evan. Clark not only killed it on the keys but on the mic her ad libs, skits, scats and runs had me like how she does all that in one breathe. Check her out leading Give him Glory. She even mention she went through depression and thought she had nothing left but she does. Of course, she can't do all those notes like she use to but what she does is still powerful. Just my thoughts.
Everyone saying stuff about Twinkie must don’t know she has good days n bad days with her highs if u listen when she started out using her lower tone she was fine n rehearsal she was fine with her highs but there are days she can’t push though this was one the illnesses thsts she’s had over the yrs has messed with her voice but she’s still Twinkie for people who really love and follow her n don’t just look at clips

Karen said in an interview that she rarely sings at her home church. Since this was a local church program she probably just sat back as first lady. I think she does that so people won't come for a free concert every Sunday
Yes to what the comments above me said. But we also have to acknowledge that the Clark Sisters are getting older so they're not going to be as active when they sing now. And we can't expect them to do everything that we once expected them to do.

@@KultivateWKah I agree I think if somebody got into her ear and at least just suggested a vocal coach for a little bit of vocal therapy she’d be all right she wouldn’t even have to take a rest per say, and if she did need to take a rest, it wouldn’t be as extensive as a years rest because remember when Covid hit she had arrest and we saw what it did to her voice. It made her voice so much better.

Now grant it, this was not a concert just a local church program but still knowing it would be live streamed they can look out for Twinkie a little better than that. She has said over and over that she is tired and they keep pushing her to produce more and won't accept that Twinkie is done and ready to just be poured into after years of her pouring out to the world. If they let her rest for a year they might be surprised what good it will do her vocally, and mentally. I love Twinkie too much to see her put all over the internet in this condition. I know she has good or bad days but lately she has more bad days vocally and as she gets older I fear it will get worse.
