Beautiful area - love the off-route old homes and abandoned cars. The bluegrass track was perfect. I spent a lot of time in that area years ago, even stayed at that Moores Motel at 18:00.
Love this I'm so happy I ran across your videos !!! I lived in the town of maybrook as a kid and we rode mountain bikes and dirt bikes all through the countryside great memories ! You got me hooked on your channel when I just watched your Baja trip I made that trip back in the early 90s from Central Texas . Have a great day stay safe !
I love the fact you stop and smell the roses so to speak. Some riders are agressive and testosterone driven, go,go,go. I am older now and its great to see places in East.
Another great video thanks. Hi Light of the coach tour we went on from the Uk To DC, NY & Boston was when we left motorways and saw the real America. Mind you it hurt to now I should of been on my GS. Looking forward to watching more of your videos to get a real feeling for the States.
Great video Sterling! I like the ‘behind the scenes’ perspective, looking forward to the rest of the series. Have you done similar work on previous BDR’s?
Been watching many of your solo series and enjoy your videos. SOrry for this question but What tires are you running on a trip like this? Thanks and be safe
Great videos. About how many miles you guys rode a day and hours. I’m planning to do this ride next year and I would like to planning a little bit before. Thanks
I’ve been looking to do a this trip but my versus 650. Probably won’t make the off-road sections. Thinking about picking up a dual sport but no clue which to even consider
I hope to do this very soon (next few weeks)! I'll be posting some video to my channel of the trip! be sure to sub to my channel and hit the bell so you get notified when video is up!
Sterling, how many miles did you clock from Hancock to the Great Hudson River / RVW Bridge? Was that one day of travel ? Thank you for sharing your travels!
I don't recall the exact mileage. We stayed in Andes the first night and then crossed over the Hudson River the next morning. Section 1 officially ends in Andes, NY.
I know this about riding motorcycles but any chance driving through in a truck is possible? Not recklessly obviously I would respect the trail and surrounding area.
@@zackvw3164 well I can't say as though I remember that much in. detail - far better to use the map and description on the BDR website for the most accurate info - or join the NEBDR Facebook group to get up to date info as well! Hope that helps!
@@SterlingNoren You're the professional of course, but it sure does seem to jump around more than a GoPro? I don't have either, just making an observation. Sure do enjoy every episode though!!!
I have Gaia GPS and REVER. Of course I also use Google maps too. Rever is really nice because it includes Butler Maps rated motorcycling roads. Gaia GPS is great because it has so many custom layers. Both of these apps require a subscription to get the best out of them.
Amazing video with amazing comments. With this video everyone can see very easy why NEBDR is all about. Thanks
Loved the new 10 year movie. Congrats
After seven seasons of sport touring I'm thinking about adding a dual sport so I can adventure tour. These routes look amazing.

Awesome! Looks perfect, loving all the NDRs! Nice to see them before a trip so as to know what to expect & how to plan. Love your films the best!

Great stuff Sterling. I now have to go there.
Sterling, thank you for the video. Well Done!
I really enjoyed this ride-a-long. I figured it was the New England BDR. Now I know better.
Thank you for the video. Well Done Sterling!
Very nice video. I moved from Massachusetts to Arizona end of last year and really miss the riding on the east coast.
Been a long time away from the Catskills, but it's nice to see my old stomping grounds in a BDR video.

I can’t believe you were in my backyard. A nice corner of the state between NY and Pa.

Wow, what a great video! Excellent mix of helmet cam and steady cam drive by’s. Good narration too. You’re making me miss my KLR650.
Thanks for the note! I appreciate that!
LOVE THESE

Not so much really, this was a first time BDR "vlog" for me...
I was a few rows back at the start of the hancock quarry run
Been watching many of your solo series and enjoy your videos. SOrry for this question but What tires are you running on a trip like this? Thanks and be safe
Best Wishes from Costa Rica 🏍🇨🇷
Another great video and inspiring me to get out there and ride NEBDR!
I’ve been watching your videos, and I wonder, what kind of tires do you use on your motorcycle? Thanks
Great videos.

Nice job

Great audio quality - can I ask what your recording rig is?
Sena 10c helmet camera for most of the on-bike audio. A little bit of post-production noise reduction to reduce wind noise.
Motorcycle Travel Channel ok, thanks much

I really enjoyed this video! Thanks! "Did you bake these yourself?" "Yeah!" "Wow" ** munch munch munch LOL
Riding NEBDR Sections 1-3 in June if anyone wants to join.
cant understand why youd want to change the stock BMW wheels
Hey Sterling, great channel, just fyi New York is not in New England. Lol. Keep up the great vids.
Really nice video!! Big salut from Ukraine!!
Hi there is hotel to stay at every end of section???
Awesome
you past my house! wait up!
I know this about riding motorcycles but any chance driving through in a truck is possible? Not recklessly obviously I would respect the trail and surrounding area.
Yes it could be done. A few sections might get a little bit tight in the woods.
@@SterlingNoren ok I'm going to try and do the ny section soon. Any sections in particular or does it vary in along each part?

Big-T little odd ....P:)
Okay production. Little repetitive. Poor audio. Off putting. But tolerable.
