No matter the criticisms this iteration of TMNT gets, there's one thing that can't be denied:
Rise of the TMNT has the best animated scenes out of all the series.

Nickelodeon has done this show so dirty. We were robbed of so many episodes and the four episode finale was the crew doing everything for that 1 hour special from nothing in six weeks. Turns out they also cancelled a season for the 2012 cartoon as well.
They’ve done this to other shows and it’s getting old. Nick deserves nothing.
This show has been misunderstood - this video hopefully showcases how amazing Rise of the TMNT is.The animation scenes support the story moments, and there's so much meaning waiting to be discovered.
Every iteration of the TMNT has re-invented what it means to be a ninja turtle, and this one is fun, magical and heartwarming. We need more of that in the world.
@@DoigSwift i won't lie i like where they kept it at the end but in the beginning i could take it serious but thing is what makes me turn away from this show mainly is not only did the devote Leo for leader they gave him mikey behavior and splinter was when i said no but i like the mystical power the gave the turtles

IT'S JUST STRAIGHT UP AWESOME!
I think it's because they banked too hard on the "Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass" approach they took on the characters. They showed us Fat and Lazy Splinter in the trailers, and it gave a bad first impression. People didn't expect he would later in the series "drop the act" as it were.

At first I was confused because I was like “wait I thought the lyrics were what’s up danger” but then I realized, it’s a play on words because this is “rise of the tmnt”
Whether I got it or not, this is still very epic and very awesome

The animation in this show is JAWDROPPING and this editing showcases it SO WELL, with such an amazing sense of timing and impact??
This is. Wow. I'm going to be rewatching this a LOT of times.
I remember there was this awesome jaw-dropping animation moment when the shreader armored Draxum destroyed a cave, and I had to watch that scene 5-6 times because that one scene was so intricately shadowed...

This series is truly mind blowing with its animated sequences. It gives me inspiration to keep drawing so that I can become an animator one day😋

Yeah! Rise of the TMNT is an amazing series, full of humour, great storytelling and creative action sequences. We highly recommend it to everyone!

Your timing was incredible, especially with Shredder ripping through the cargo ship, that gave me chills even the third time watching it in a row
I think that this is officially the best Ninja Turtles show ever.
There was a comment from a video reviewing the series, saying, and I quote, "Rise is on the same level as Spider-Verse when it comes to its animation". And by god, does this AMV prove that Statment correct.
You can hate on this show as much as you want but you gotta admit, the visuals are freaking amazing

Dude, I’m not even into TMNT. I just stumbled onto this because it was recommended by an animator I love. This is absolutely incredible. You did amazing. Everything is so smooth and the mouth movements? I can’t imagine the amount of patience and work put into this. This is outstanding and I’m excited to see more stuff.

@@DoigSwift I started off with a very low opinion of it, I thought the turtles were too similar in terms of personality but as I continued I started to enjoy them more and more, honestly now I love this show and I’m so regretful I didn’t give it a chance earlier, even the comedy is hella on point lol Leo is the GOAT!!!!
@@doctorsqueaks1683 I feel that. I was a bit iffy on the show during the first few episodes, but once the writers got their feet under them it really started to pick up speed and I ended up holding on for dear life as it took me on a wild adventure, I love it!

I haven't even watched Rise of the TMNT, this editing just HITS so hard, one of my favorite AMVs honestly.
Hands down one of my favorite AMVs I've ever seen. The bit at 2:00 with the ladder is so perfect, on top of dozens of other amazing sequences. Fantastic work, I really envy your skills!!
This show is so good I want to cry. The animation and action is so flawless and the writing is SO GOOD I just want to lay down my life for the show. THANK you for making this AMV it's so good It fuels my urge to fight for more rise.

Can we appreciate that when it said "just like you" with the ladder part it switched from the Turtles to Lou Jistu and then back to Raph? I thought that was some really nice timing!
Okay. You have me convinced. I'll give the show a try. I never hated it from the getgo, I was just a little confused and put off by the direction the new series would go. To me the 2012 was pretty damn good striking a balance between the nitty gritty of the 2003 show and the light heartedness of the 1987. If the action sequences are THIS good? I'll give it a shot because this music video was well put together and really sells to me how much you like the show to make this!

man this amv is amazing, it gave me so many chills and put a huge smile on my face when certain moments came up (ex. the fish and ladders scene)! I've always thought spiderverse and rottmnt were similar in several ways (especially cause I love both dearly), and listening to what's up danger with rottmnt's animation really feels like a match made in heaven. thank you guys for making this and letting our eyes witness this beauty

Wow, this is great work. The song fits well with how brave the Turtles, April, and Splinter are. I haven’t seen the whole series but the animation and lighting is mind blowing.

I wasn't sure about this show during the beginning of the first episode, but once they got to Draxum's lair and began their fight scene my GOD the way the animation absolutely POPPED OFF!!? I was immediately hooked, I was hooting and hollering at the screen, fist-pumping and pointing and losing my entire damn mind!

Edit: Bought it, watched it, and I absolutely LOVED IT!!!! Rise has it's own unique take on the turtles franchise that feels like a breath of fresh air. People may say that one cartoon is better than the rest, but I personally love all of them and am so happy to add Rise to my 'must have' list. I hope the Netflix movie will do well enough for this series to be revived!
