Water seeks peaceful equalibrium horizontally. It gets there and then is swooped into trasformation, transits through rocks, stones, waterfalls, rains, other ways, then finally finds home again in a higher state. It has met the other elements along the way, some sad, some strong, some definatedly polluted, but it moves on - finding it place in tranquility. My uranus conjunct jupiter and mars in the 8th house - I´m still here and happy for it.

At 30:03 you are highlighting a paradox of sorts. That the Aquarian archetype is humanitarian by nature. Everyone matters equally. Each unique individual has a right within the human field of consciousness, to BE itself; unique. So the hive mind analogy, is a mistaken lens ... Our three shadow that flips everything into an inverted hive. I love this conversation ... Aquarius rising ! ❤
I think I see all this 'oneness' through a different lens. I dislike being part of a group think. I avoid large gatherings. But i feel myself to be more connected to the creation than ever i was when i was trying to find belonging through groups. This comes from an individuated knowledge of being 'as one' within; 'as one' with creation and source, and humanity ... Having found my unique resonant relationship to the whole. I love this conversation ... And i also find difference of perspective. To me, hive mind brings a horror of being assimilated into a Borg like state of disconnected unawareness of being in an individuated, unique state that also knows itself to be a part of creation ... Whole and complete; with a direct relationship to the One, that created us all in it's imagination through a need to know itself. I may not be making sense.
Thank for your reflections! Yes unfortunately the "hive mind" is nowadays associated with loss of individuality or mob consciousness -- it wasn't a good term to use in that context. However, in the pure idealistic sense it demonstrates the coherent, holistic society where the sense of "belonging" is naturally embedded within the group, while retaining an individuated consciousness! (I believe we are far from it in the current cycle of humanity's development) And yes, the Aquarian experience of alienation from groups, while feeling connected to ALL -- is a very common experience... the limitations of the podcast format aren't allowing for the full spectrum of archetypal manifestations to be covered. Uranus part 2 might be coming!

Btw he is NOT a cult leader saying that everyone has to think the same way ("there is only one alternative, the unification of minds"), or totally melt our egos, it's a general reflexion about the nature of consciousness, trying to solve a major issue in Quantum theory, where the conscious observer is influencing the result of the experiment! I also understand the point he's making as: we are all multidimensional fractals of the One Mind that has separated in order to know, and experience itself, and grow from this. We, as fractals, are co-creators of reality in every moment, it is a multi-way relation-ship because there is always more than one possible timeline to choose in each 'moment'. I just had the thought that the way the universe experiences itself via everything conscious is analogous to the way AI machines are learning via interaction with human data and information on the internet. This was fun. I also wonder if a Uranus transit could be akin to hitting the Improbability Drive button in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy book! 😂
PS Aquarians can be about the idea of humanity or ideal human. What humans have the potential to be. But then can be disappointed with where humans actually are. And maybe why they don’t get dragged into things is because they are “ above it.” Above all the drama. I think Aquarian energy is interested in humanity but as an observer because it helps them understand themselves. They might be on a plane where they have enough distance to even observe themselves. Compartmentalized thoughts. It’s why Saturn as ruler makes sense. But that’s just my thought/idea.
Data/info/knowledge is what is of value now. And what the wars can be fought over. Including hacking that steals/deletes peoples data online or in online systems ( banking, etc). Or hacking the connectivity- systems ie cell phone satellites, etc. That’s another variation.

And yes, Aquarius is associated with the "ideal" human, the potential, the realm of "Gods" i.e. the ultimate level of knowledge/awareness. The sense of distance or being "above" the crowd can come as one of the expressions of the archetype.

My mother has Pluto out of bounds and I sucked on thumb for 7 years cus I knew I was powerless over her and her 5 husbands.
But it reminds me of Uranus cus I used to think up all the bad things that could happen in a situation bc I knew those things never would happen, only the ones I don't think up. It was comforting at least to let those things go. yeah I had moon in aquarius... and I survived quite well in spite of Pluto!

Attachment style with Aquarius is so different to the coldness of Capricorn or Scorpio..we can love deeply without attachment and do but we need partners who are similar or homeopathic to us ..a water sign is NEVER going to understand Aquarian needs and loving style..

I have Uranus in Libra and this is not an easy placement. I have noticed, since I was a child, any interaction, however short or minute, brings radical changes and challenges for "others" and their reactions are to blame me, personally,as if I intended these radical and sudden challenges upon them, Not so.This includes astrologers I have reached out to, whom I thought would have had a deeper understanding of themselves and the organic unfolding of life. Not so, instead, the reactions are fear based, BORING.

I love the Aquarius’s vibe as well, but: as a person who was born into the mid sixties it’s not what it’s going to be with Pluto in this sign…. There is no Aquarian age, yet. At all.
Pluto will show that to us, big time. Sorry to blow your dream. Pluto in Aquarius is not going to be easy; or beautiful at all.

Greater good arguments have a shadow side. Placing the needs of the many over the individual , or valuing the lives of the many over a few does have a dirty underbelly when you ask who is deciding what and who is valuable. WE want this land, for example, because our needs are worth more than the needs and rights of the few currently on that land. History has shown the dark side of these arguments.
Agree! Both placing the needs of many above the individual and vice versa, individual over the collective has its distorted consequences. Here we are as humanity, trying to figure it all out for eons of time :)
