I watched this show as a kid in the fifties and actually began with Season 4 and stuck with it to the end of the series. Missed the first 3 seasons so didn't know who Jean Hagen was until I got to see reruns. So I only knew Marjorie Lord in the role. But for some reason, Uncle Tonoose was my most favorite character of the show. Thanks for giving me this chance to renew my acquaintance with the Williams family. You've brought back MANY happy tv memories for me.
This show still holds up so well. Uncle Toonose reminds me of my immigrant family in America. Miss them very much. Kind and warm with not a fake bone in their bodies.
22:23 Rusty looks SO uncomfortable in this scene. Makes me wonder what the heck was going on right then. He was such a terrific actor too, delivering his lines like a total pro all the time. It's odd to see him look like that.
Arabic folk music on a '50s sitcom--I love it! (And they say the old TV shows weren't "diverse" enough!)

I loved Marjorie Lord as Danny's second wife. Also cute little Angela Catrwright!

I LOVED the part Hans Conried played on this show! My people were all ethnics so I could relate to him.
Me too!❤
Marjorie Lord was such a "lady" and a wonderful stepmother to Danny's kids.
Such a beautiful and melancholy Arabic song.
