I had this treadmill for over 3 years and put some serious mileage on it. I usually run 7.5-8.0 min/mile and did some 18-20 mile runs on this thing. Why, you ask? This was my only option for our house, since our basement has a ceiling height of 6 feet 8 inches. The motor finally died and it’s actually more cost effective to replace the whole machine than trying to swap out the motor. So, I got another one. Wish I could get something that can really handle higher miles for actual running, but the Xterra tr150 is great if you’ve got those low ceilings.
Thought of buying a more expensive model with added features like a built in fan and monitor console with apps like RUclips and such applied. The best hope was having it last longer than 2 years. 1- there's an upkeep to them that they don't tell you that would limit the warranty. Read the warranty. 2- you can breath at yourself for a better breeze than what the fan gives off. 3- the apps are limited and to like 5 of their own apps like the Crappy News Network, RUclips, the [m]ass media channels 4- it starts clicking after a year of use 5- as soon as I paid it off, a few months later the motherboard stopped working. how do I know it was the motherboard? 6- I called their helpless desk for support and they thought I was some kind of electrician to pop open the hood, read some connection points with a meter myself to diagnose it for them. 7- The icing on the cake: they no longer have a replacement motherboard to purchase (since it just happens that the warranty expired), they don't rebuild it, they don't refer it to anyone to build it, and no one in this galaxy has one in stock. The speaker was grade-A though👍
Great video...I'm really hoping you guys review higher end home versions of ellipticals and arc trainers (like from cybex or matrix). I'm considering buying one for a home gym I'm building and, given how expensive they are, I'd love to see thorough reviews of them, especially from a source that isn't the manufacturer. Thanks!
Could you do a review of the XTerra TR260 Treadmill. It is 2 steps up from the TR150-the TR200 being the one in the middle. The mail differences between the TR150 and the TR260 is that the TR260 has a motorized 10-level incline, slow lowering hydraulics, a bigger console with blue back lighting, and Bluetooth FTMS connectivity that allows it to connect to 3rd party apps like Kinomap. All great stuff for a $100 more than the TR150. But what I want to know is your thoughts on its usability. I'm hoping to get the most out of mine during the winter months. I'm also a running dynamics person as I have a Garmin watch and heart rate monitor. I train for Spartan/OCR races and need to put in the miles for an upcoming Ultra. Thanks! Great review of the TR150 by the way!
The worst customer service ever 😢, no customer services, no guarantee (if you have a problem you have to contact another a service company and pay $ 180, even though I bought it three months ago 😢

How does this compare to peloton? Looking for best treadmill without having to buy a subscription.
For someone who is looking for longevity in a treadmill, which of the two brand is more known for that though?
Can you do one on the pro form carbon TL?
