- Float fishing for fall King Salmon and solo camping on the river in northern Michigan! We caught most of our fish float fishing with skein and casting thundersticks in deep holes that held staging salmon. Conditions were low and clear, but that didn't stop us from getting bites

3000, but I think I’ll end up getting 4000’s for kings instead. Still work great but I want to beef up a little bit. 3000 is perfect for the steelhead though

if you have a 20 pound leader and your drag is still set that loose then you are kind of stupid and totally deserved to lose those fish. you have the gear, you just choose to play the fish and dramatize everything more than it has to be. just reel in the damn fish

I was going to but I was hesitant because it was only my 2nd time burning that stove in. There’s an initial break in period for the titanium to burn off any residual chemicals

Hey man love watching your videos and the adventures you go on! I was curious how you get back upstream to your vehicle when you drift in your boat/kayak? I’m thinking about floating down one of the rivers in my kayak and I’m unfamiliar with which ones are smaller and manageable. I will end up doing it without a driver so i Would love to hear how you do it! Thanks :)
I usually pay for a spotter or fish with a buddy who parks at the bottom! Call around some of the local canoe liveries and ask if they offer that as a service. Thanks for the support on the video👊🏼

Your supposed too put the potato in tin foil in the coals
The stove has an initial break in period to rid of any residual chemicals on the titanium and I was paranoid about cooking it inside. I did the first initial burn but I wanted to be on the safe side
