This would go great with my Figuarts Buzz Lightyear, it’s a good amount smaller than the Alpha Class Buzz so it’s perfect. I could to with or without the lights and sounds feature, since I was originally considering getting the Takara Tomy lights and sounds version(since it was the first scale-accurate Zurg movie figure to have interchangeable forearms with or without the blaster) but as soon as this Alpha Class version was announced, I said “screw it”, just sucks tho it has slightly less articulation in the legs and knees compared to the Mattel 12 inch version
That Figuarts buzz lightyear loooks sooo good all the videos we have seen we cant wait to share ours!! Did you get it yet by the way?? Yeah i was excited when they release alpha class zurg would definitely scale better, not sure why Mattel skipped a few on the articulation, we wouldnt mind paying just little bit more for it i mean its an alpha class its suppose to be more articulation than the base figs. But we are waiting for our beast kingdom dynamic action zurg way more articulation details and craftmanship but it wont be here until next year and the scale is going to be off.
Shopdisney for now is the one that carries it, not sure why its not out at your local target walmart or even amazon, it might be exclusive for shopdisney only

The paint on this is really nice. Some questionable choices in articulation though.

This is the Alpha Class Zurg its totally awesome
Its an improvement from the 10inch smaller version they have of Zurg, we like the glossy finish 🙌

The 5 Inch and This kind of matched the film scale
For me between the alpha class and the 5 inch lightyear is about right, so yeah it can go either way, we’re ok with it, the 5 inch is fine
