    Lovely looking wheel and great review! So to confirm it’s not currently Xbox compatible but it could be added a later date? Is that right?

      You're right essentially. I don't think this feature is 100% confirmed, but from what I've seen, the wheel is designed to be Xbox compatible, which is planned to be officially launched at some point in the future. Fingers crossed.

    Awesome video dude. You’re not quite right about the ES wheel compatibility tho. I use the ES on my R16 V2. I’m not sure if it’s an, ES V2 or not ?

    • @arkalon4986
      @arkalon4986 4 месяца назад

      You are correct, you most certainly can use a Moza ES wheel with the R16 V2 as the ES wheel was the first wheel in the Moza ecosystem to have the newer contact points ( roughly cross shaped as opposed to the older hyphen shaped contact points on the V1 wheels and motors).

    Its very close to the higher end brands now but at $800 i would atill get many other 15nm bases over this. Like the new dd+, simagic alpha and asetek. They are just more refined feeling when in use.
    I know crazy right? Fanatec? Yes its that good now.
    Also at $800 the outside should be at least 70% metal like the orhers i mentioned. Or something with a heatsync showing etc.

    Hi! Thank you so much for your reviews, it really helped me a lot. I currently have a Moza R12 base, and I'm looking to spend up to 1000€ for a formula wheel. I'm considering the Moza FSR, F-Core, or Grid steering wheel. Which one do you think is the best option? Alternatively, is there another wheel you'd consider in that price range? Or do you think upgrading my wheel base from 12nm to 20nm or higher would be a better choice?

      If you already have an R12 which is fantastic, then opt for the FSR wheel. This will be well under your budget and avoids you having to use conversion kits or physical USB cables. Nice and clean and its a great wheel.

    Just bought a (second hand) Fanatec CLS DD + Formula 2.5 wheel + V3 pedals. Guess that will be more than good enough to start with, but I see myself going for Moza in the future if I need a more potent setup.

    • @SimRacingSetups
      @SimRacingSetups  6 месяцев назад

      That's a great setup that will last you a long time! Good choice. MOZA is looking very competitive throughout different budgets. Who knows how things will look when you come to upgrade in the future!

    Thanks for the insight. How does this compare to the Forte?

    • @SimRacingSetups
      @SimRacingSetups  5 месяцев назад +1

      Its good. It certainly feels different as each brand has its own "feel". This R16 feels a little more raw, thats not meant in a bad way, but the best way I can describe it. They're very comparable in terms of performance, meaning it's more a preference over which ecosystem you like the look of more.

      @@SimRacingSetups Thanks for the feedback. I’m upgrading from a very old T500RS but would happily pay a bit more for something at this level as opposed to something like the Moza R8, or CSL DD.

    Do Moza Pithouse have presets for the major sims like Fanatec have? I am considering upgrading my Csl DD but I am not very good with tuning my FFB to be honest.

      I run a Logitech g923 and I have the same issue, ffb difficult to tune. Spend hours adjusting come back the next time and not the same feeling. Cars always spinning out and unrecoverable. These setups looks expensive as heck.

      @@geraldshookjr9690The Moza R5 (5.5 N-M) bundle Direct drive is now $450, a bargain IMO. I has R5, but just got the R9+Moza GS+Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals. You really need a solid rig to mount these DD bases as they are so strong. Tuning the FFB is pretty easy these days, at least with Moza. There's a lot to learn, but it's not difficult toi dial in.

      @@edwinvandenberg3633 and the presets are good? It is the only thing that scares me, i don’t have a lot of time when i play so i don’t want to spend hours tuning my ffb and either way i am bad at it 😅

    • @SimRacingSetups
      @SimRacingSetups  6 месяцев назад

      Slightly concerned? Why? This has improved compatibility and nicer force feedback details, but isn't as strong as the R21. Certainly not worth the cost of swapping your R21 for this.

      @ciaranconnor4466 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@SimRacingSetups more so that the R21 V2 is about to be launched also. That’s good to know; presume the improvements to be minimal between R21 V1 and V2 in terms of FFB and look forward to your review of the V2.
