Cathy! My whispering guru! My son's name is Aidan. When you describe the new snowflake die as "delicate" I think to myself that is the last word I would use to describe him! I love the idea of holding the paper with the wooden clothespin when you are using the heat tool. You gave great tips for doing the watercolor card.

You came up with some wonderful ideas in a hurry! I love the multicolor cardstock, I've got some on the way to me now. I'm excited to try that technique you used. I think I'll have to do snowflakes on that purple one you liked, that looked amazing together! My favorite though is the watercolor card, I love the look and the colors you used! BEAUTIFUL cards Cathy! This kit is a winner. Love the stamp set with all the beautiful snowflake stamps. Love the watercolor card. I’m a decorative painter but have such little experience watercoloring. Mostly have painted on wood and some on fabric so is a lot different than on paper. We decorative artists usually use the term “spattering” but is good to learn a difference between that and splattering. Didn’t know that myself…..just figured the two were used interchangeably. You could also use your GK pick up tool rather than your finger to spatter with. I’ve used a pencil or pen when spattering on wood in the past. The pick up tool would be quite handy while card making. Anything round works good if it hurts a finger. 😉. TFS your wonderful cards! LOVE the white glass mat. That’s the one I plan on getting hopefully after my tax refund (along with 4 wide Alex drawers, 2 table tops, two 2x4 and two 2x3 Kallax units)! 🤣

That's such a great tip to use the foam mat and the Gina K. Pick & Stick tool! I struggle with those delicate shapes. Your cards are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
I just loved all of the cards you made, thanks for sharing! I should mention that I often copy your cards, I change a thing or two but basically it's your cards because they are always clean and simple for the most part which I absolutely love.

Hey Cathy, great video as always. I heard you say when you were using your finger to aid in the spatter it hurt. Instead of using your finger, tap your brush against your bone folder and see if that works. I’m pretty sure I saw that done in another video. 😁 TFS!

Hi Cathy! As usual your creativity is inspiring. On your first card, you used an embossing powder that made the sentiment look like it had been foiled instead of embossed - what was it? I could not find it in the supplies used list (if it’s there, I apologize, I’m blind as a bat 😊)

I have subscribed to the kits for over. Year, but lately, they are not being delivered promptly. I still have not gotten last month’s kit and a new one has been unveiled. This month’s kit is too late for my Christmas cards.

I have. The same thing happened with last month’s kit. The November kit came out before I’d received October’s. So, that kit was too late for thanksgiving cards. They just say the demand was greater than anticipated…
Just heard from customer service- they bill on the 14th of the month, but may not ship until the 30th! So, it’s no surprise I’m not getting the kits in time to use them for the holiday! I suggested they consider issuing holiday-themed kits a month earlier.
You do need to be “sparing” with the boops. I love the boops, but you don’t want to use up your allotted amount. 😋
