Beautiful Arequipa, i liked the options you gave us , and the music also i found it very peaceful, i did everythig also and i loved each place and More, like COLCA trecking, Yura hot springs, Mirador de Carmen Alto and practicing zipline, also canoeing, i liked these experiences, in my case i went to the picanterias, like La CAu CAu, La Nueva Palomino, or La Típica, Queso helado in those places are really delicious (just in case is not cheese =queso its just a name, its more like iced dulce de leche =caramel kind of flavor, the city its always sunny so better use sun protection, and as u showed in the video its very easy to find relaxation and nice experiences in the beautiful Arequipa ❤
Most people do speak a bit of english, but i’d say it does help a lot if you know the basics of Spanish! My spanish is beginner level, but managed without any problems 😊

where do the locals eat? because those prices are not cheap.
Locals from Arequipa eat at restaurants called Picanterias the food is delicious and very traditional to Arequipa, you can get lunch specials of a very harty soup and second dish for only 30 soles, I usually end up taking my second dish to go, definitely recommend:)
Wow this is a horrible video. It is typical of young people moving around from city to city making videos along the way to pay for the trip. This video shows nothing of Arequipa except some woman shoving food in her mouth. Yes the food is fantastic, but no mention of mount Misti, or pechu pechu. I live in Arequipa. Every day I walk around looking at a skyline of snow peaked mountains and volcanos. No mention of that on the video. If I was to come to Arequipa this video would be no help.

@@HerreraAlonso I'm from Arequipa too, and I think the video has all the important things you need to know about the city and places you could visit downtown. Great video btw. Come back soon Janica, you're welcome anytime!

Can I ask do you need to speak Spanish to order food, book rooms and trip, or are their people who can speak English? 😊

I'm from Arequipa too and found the video very sweet and fun She did mention she couldn't see the volcanoes because of the fog those days!

You're not from Arequipa, you little piece of trash. You're trying to make the people of Arequipa look bad because you're jealous.
@@Jralm Im from arequipa too, the video is good, what are people talking about in the other comments, they are making us look bad wth

La ciudad mas sobrevalorada de Perú después de Lima y seguido Cuzco ,si no van a Perú no se pierden de nada
La envidia hablando. Haz algo por tu región si quieres que sea valorada.
