  • A recent post by a US attorney has ignited a significant debate on social media regarding the leadership of Indian CEOs, especially in tech companies. In the post, the attorney claimed that an Indian CEO, who was brought into a company after it was purchased by a private equity firm, caused a series of negative changes. According to the attorney, the new CEO replaced the company’s original founders with people from his own community, which he felt led to the company’s cultural shift.

Giving Employees too much work load and damaging customer satisfaction are 100% valid concerns!! I have experienced this exact same thing with overseas colleagues, particularly from said culture. In India they don't respect employees and expect them to slave away for a few pennies. In western countries people have more self worth and rights. I exactly experienced the same thing with certain people demanding people to increase targets... no concern for employees

I worked for Indians my whole life in South Africa and it is extremely hard. There is no such thing as a work life balance. It's just work or they will get guys in from India that will do it for a plate of food. And none of my overtime was paid. Neither were public holidays or weekend work. And the way they used to speak to us was terrible. While they enjoy holidays in dubai and drive luxury cars

@moerelan1 I don't need to learn anything my friend. I'm not a child so you don't need to worry about my behavior. The way u speak is exactly how Indian people think they can speak to others. Indian people look after each other at the expense of others. They attend each other's birthday parties and anniversaries while we skip ours to keep the company going. I sacrificed 10yrs of my personal time to make an Indian family alot of money. While I was never at home. Never again. 10yrs was enough thanks.

My experience at one of our Nation’s largest US health insurance has been the same. Majority of Indian origin VP’s and above are purely interested in their bottom line alone. They don’t care for their employees or clients. Specially if the leader has experience in India only and come over to US in a managerial position, the situation is worse. They lack human management skills and bring in an archaic master slave style of management. They don’t listen and are not open to suggestion’s from their team. Nepotism and sexism is rampant. Each leader is surrounded by his/her own group of employees whom they brought along from their Indian companies like Infosys, TCS etc. I work along side many Indian people who are extremely smart and nice people it is only the Indian senior management style and dishonestly that sucks. People who suffer the most under these people are unfortunately are none other than people of Indian origin who are on H1B visas. Since these individuals are stuck for their Green cards many don’t dare say anything but obey orders. These leaders exploit and feed on their own country men/women. Work life balance is unheard of under such leaders. There are a few that are exceptions, but majority exhibit this behavior. Especially the ones who have their roots in TCS, Infosys or Cognizant or similar companies.

The guy is right....we only bother about presenting monthly or yearly reports highlighting in bold minute gains in percent, after some cost reduction program.. anyhow reduce the cost of anything TO get promoted..
Very less focus on customer satisfaction or employee loyalty even though they preach the opposite but dont implement it.
Basically short term gains is wat matters.
Its dangerous because once u start promoting such short sighted people, others get frustrated and it spreads in companya as no1 wants to not be promoted.
Indian work culture is very different than west.we have yes boss and dont disagree with ur boss here, customer loyalty is seen as bulshit...
    समान बिकने के बाद हमारी कोई गारंटी नहीं है ,
Whereas west welcome different views, long term gains, believe in building long term partnerships with their clients.
