Yet this version succeeds in both, and actually feels like a sm64 song in parts, actually using the soundfont to its advantage.

Apparition moreso gave you a foreboding, ominous feeling of running from the Wario head, whereas this song makes it far more frantic and creepy- especially with the circus music leitmotif towards the end.
