This format is great, please don’t change it. There are far too many “quick fix videos”. If viewers are not prepared to put in time and effort their learning will be very limited. ❤
This was just what I needed today ! Really encouraging and motivating advice. Thank you so much, and it would be wonderful if you would continue with a series of videos based on the book. I love the longer format - I seem to absorb the information much better.
Loved this video and learned so much! Looking forward to your next episode outlining the book. A shame it’s so expensive, and appreciate your extensive time and effort to bring this to your audience.
Thanks for the much-needed insights about this incredible book, I have had to watch this entire video again and again,,, I can't wait for the next video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for these useful tips. I've always thought that my practice routines could be much better, but never really found a teacher who's interested in watching me practice and advising on how to improve. The book sounds very helpful. I'd love to hear more from it.
❤ 🎹.... this was great 🎉 something i could relate to 😂 ... the bad example... 😆 i am Yes! 😮 do more videos covering topics of practice ... it was useful 😅 to compare how off the mark i am... and where i need to reign my self in. Thank you 😊
I think you can have both formats. The longer more detailed format for people who really want it, and a shorter summary version for others who don’t have time. 😊
On the length of the videos - it depends on your goal with the channel. If it's to reach as many people as possible then doing short companion videos would help with that as I imagine a lot of people would be put off by the long format (not me as I got to the end clearly 😁). An idea would be to do the long video and use some of the AI tools about to summarise it (could download the transcript and feed that in) as a starting point for a shorter one to refilm and release both either concurrently or in phases. A lot more time and effort though so whatever works for you!
Hey thank you for this effort 🙏🏻 are you familiar also with another excellent book by author Benny Greb „Effective Practicing for Musicians: The Ultimate Guide for how to Become Better at Your Instrument”?? Cheers
There are *so* many great books on practising out there- I just had a quick look at the one you mentioned, it does outline some basic solid recommendations but I wouldn't put it at the top of the pack... but if it inspired you, that's great! 😎

"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going" so keep on with the longer format. 😊

Thank you for this review. I’ve just bought a copy from eBay.

This was great. Long format is the only way to get to the nuances.
Thank you! Great!
Thanks for doing this video.
