  • “The Grand March” is a perfect closing folk dance where dancers work together to create a succession of intricate shapes. This version uses a chorus figure to separate each of the three shapes (the spiral, the tunnel, and the grand march). This dance can be found in the book Sashay The Donut by The New England Dancing Masters, and the song “Old Time Reel Medley" can be used for accompaniment. This video features students from Boone Meadow Elementary, led by their teacher William C Doublestein, during the 2023-2024 school year.
