I just found your channel man, keep up the good work. Never a dull moment driving a mixer. I've been doing it over 40 years and still going. I'm almost 70 years old, I've got concrete running through my veins. LOL.
I've had several pours this fast, but I've never seen them done without mesh. In no time the concrete will break. Greetings from Spain. he tenido varios vertidos así de rápidos, pero nunca los vi hacer sin malla. En poco tiempo se romperá el hormigón. Saludos desde España.
they didn’t even grade the area.. dumped it over dirt, definitely didn’t have enough for the full slab, where’s the rest of the video of this job? this was a disaster from us viewers point of view 😅
this has nothing to do with the drivers video.. he did say they had another 10 yards on standby.. he delivers the concrete.. everything else.. including the not prepped ground is not on him..
@@SCHARKBAIT11 where did I say it was on the guy who poured it? I’m talking about the guys who were doing the slab, and asked for him to dump the entire pour in one, on an unprepared surface. And I asked where’s the rest of the video to see if we can see how the disaster turned out
All of the angles you use on your truck are dope 💯 more pov driving would be dope, also more of your day even if its a repeat job. Overall good stuff !!!
9:32" gotta think smart don't work hard", reason, why first time pouring concrete like that 'cause pro's concrete placer would never do that, and a pro's driver would always try make it easier for placers and dump concrete exactly where concrete needed, cause I guarantee after you left that job those three guys were definitely not working smarter
Document every thing. Water added and take a photo of subgrade. They are a customer and as long as they pay... who cares, the homeowner is the loser and so often lowest bid does not work out
I can’t believe that they don’t have any extension chutes. They must love raking.
That is definitely not Victory Style. I would love to see the finish product on that one. WOW
That concrete job was a hack for sure! No gravel , no rebar. Didn't compact anything
That’ll be redone within 2 years easily

They use Fiber mesh , it helps hold the concrete together. And there's two guarantees with concrete,I gets hard and gonna crack
Hello from Dublin Ireland from a fellow Concrete Guy I Run pump's and concrete mixers here just found your channel
Definitely minimal ground prep, but awesome vid on your part. Glad I've found your channel. Good job driva! 👍💪
Those sticks will make a nice soft bedding for the pour, cya soon on the remaster...

How much splatter is on the side of the house.?
dude said “you gotta think smart and don’t work hard…” as they proceed to drag concrete 15-20 more feet. That dude is a hack 🤣 smh
Cheers though! 💪🏽

this is a "just get it done" type of job.
Where the F is his rebar!?
Yes that’s just how I would do it looks great 👍.
Is that considered a huge hill for you guys ?
What was the reason why you didn't back up more? You didn't need to have it so high, start low and raise chute as you go to push the mud.
Need to find out where you can get some batteries that last longer so that people can see what you deal with all day long
This is 😢, how do you pour over sticks and dirt? No grading or leveling the ground wow. And then they just let it sit nobody's working the concrete.
Blow and go!!

there's no way in hell we'd do that at knife river 😂😂😂

No wire mesh or gravel on that job? They are literally pouring it over dirt, they don't even have a wheelbarrow wtf lol

Work smart there mud puller
Unreal😂 these guys bought new lumber &quality wood grade stakes ..soup 🏃🏃💩💩
Still not wet enough would have gave them a 7-8 so it flow better
Yeah. The guy should of told the driver right away to throw like at least 20 gallons in after he saw it.
The worst ground prep before concrete on YOUTube 🤦🏽♂️🤣🤣🤣🫡
It's obvious they are still recovering from Hangover, that was sloppy Slop job
I bet they never got that finished ..wow complete hack job
