In today's video I decided to take you guys with me on an adventure around the city shooting POV photography (Point of view) to take pictures of strangers, take portraits and take pictures of the beauty Barcelona has to offer. This was shot with the Canon 250D SL3 DSLR camera, along with the nifty fifty EF Canon 50mm f1.8 prime lens.

It was perfect for me that u found the girl with the basketball exercises. Since I got two major injuries I can't play that much anymore and was still looking for a way to live out my passion for the sport. I just got into photograph some rims and backboards and since I got better with my old cam I invested in the 250/SL3 and needed to see how humans and basketballs look like on that cam. Great video man, I recommend you get the sigma art 50-100mm f1.8, that lens paired with sl3 is a beast, also you can use that lens on full frame later in case you upgrade the camera

Never! I mean the worst thing people can say is no, which hasn't happened in a long time. It just depends, but if you think of it from their point of view, that are getting free photos which I usually charge for so they love having nice pics of themselves 🔥
You also never know who you're going to meet, I've met so many friends like this as well as people that I work with in the same field.

I wonder how you get that fast shooting speed while using the lcd display instead of viewfinder. I use nikon d5600 and when I press the shooter button while using lcd display mode it darkens the screen for 1 sec and then takes the picture. And you’re shooting in half of a second. Nice video btw, I really like it!

Your camera blur so sharp can you tell me camera inside settings
Thanks mate 👌🏽 the profile I shoot with is neutral, but the main settings that you need for the blur are the settings I include in the video. Having a high enough shutter will mean it won't be blurry and use Auto focus when you can 👏🏽👏🏽🙂

Do you always use lcd screen? What would be the pros of using lcd scren vs view finder? Same photo quality?
Yeah, I usually use it because I find it easier, and I can see the exposure exactly how it's going to be, but it would have the same quality both ways

Hey Ricardo! What shutter speed are you using? And are you using AF?
@@whosyourbrad Hello, first of all thank you for answering! My shutter was at 1/800 in a recent picture I took with iso 100 and 1.8 apperture and the photo was good but nowhere near your photos! And I even noticed that at 2.2 I would get a lot more sharpness. I always use AF and even within the multiple AF settings I don't usually know what to pick that best suits the scene
Hey!!! Ric, yes I know what you mean. Sometimes I find using a super low Aperture the camera can focus on a point of the nose or hand for example. A lot of the time I shoot f2 - 2.2 and the model/subject is usually in focus. I'm planning a video testing the fstops so hopefully that can help. If you saw my recent video on Sant Jordi shooting couples you would have seen the I chose to shoot f3.5 - f4 to make sure they are in focus and the pics came out super sharp. 🔥🔥

Stock cheap dslr is better than the best smartphone camera but if you add some other lenses then you reach a level where no smatphone has ever stepped 😀
