this way of earning does not work, I already checked it personally, a lot of time and effort was spent, more than half of the video was removed from monetization, there are details that need to be taken into account.

What about the notion of getting copyright striked due to the usage of someone else’s content? I’m guessing there has to be a lot of additional massaging of the content (i.e. add royalty free b-rolls to overlay on top of the audio) rather than straight up cut ups of someone else’s content entirely.

I tried to make one using Pictory AI but when I put RUclips rink on "Input your video" box, like 2:15 it doesn't work. It says "This feature is currently out of service. Try downloading the RUclips video to your computer and uploading it as an MP4 file in the box below"
So I wonder is it only me not able to access? or just because I didn't join the membership.
I'm not sure why Pictory is showing this. But I heard a few other people encountered this problem as well.
The best thing is to indeed simply download the youtube video with a free online RUclips to MP4 downloader (I'm using this one for instance: y2down.cc/nl/youtube-mp4.html). And then upload that MP4 file back into Pictory.
This way it will always work!

Is there a free way to take normal video and clip out a video for shorts content that follows the face of the person in the original video who was moving around. They don't always stay centered so when you clip it out for a short video, the subject moves off screen sometimes. Help !

Great video but I have a few questions. Can you also use other videos besides podcast. Like there are top 5 are top ten videos can you use those. How about any topic video on RUclips
Yes great question. In theory you can use this for all kinds of videos. However you have to be careful with the "source video" you use because of copyright claims. In the case of podcasts it is almost always that the people who make the podcasts are okay with it if you make shorts from them because this will give them more publicity. Keep in mind to always credit the owners when you do this.
Now let's for instance say you will use someone else's top 10 video or top 5 video. Then it is going to be a bit more difficult. In these videos there are mostly not people who would benefit from more publicity. If they made it with their own footage I wouldn't use it. However if they mostly used stock footage then you could try it because they don't own that footage.
Another option is that you change all the footage to footage from pictory and use the transcribed text to make an AI text-to-voice voice-over.
Here are a few topics I think you could try:
- Vlogs
- Workout explanation videos
- Sports
Simply everything with a bit of storytelling in it. Good luck!

Yes, I also encountered this problem a few times. What you can do is simply use a free online RUclips to MP4 converter (Google it and you will find plenty) and download the video. Then you can manually add this file into Pictory at the same step where you normally paste the link. This way it always works! It just takes 2 minutes longer…
How would you remove the pictory watermark after downloading the video ? For the people that wanna do this 100% free
Just created a short 57 second video using picktory. Every time I use them for some reason my videos come out choppy, randomly pause, and the video is just horrible. Used every step you used in this video so I have no clue why mine keep coming out horrible.

I actually made a video where I published 300 shorts in 30 days (so 10 a day). This was a great experiment however 10 a day is a bit much. However Shorts are definitely a numbers game. So I would suggest to post at least 3 a day.

@@TopThinks-G Please take a look at 8:46. Here I say that I would recommend using the premium subscription. However you can also use the basic plan if you want to make less shorts. You can always upgrade!

Pictory seems to be very promising but it's SOOO slow! Every time I try to use it, I always get a "page unresponsive" message, and it constantly crashes. Everytime I click something on the site, it takes around 5+ seconds to process my click. What upsets me the most is that I bought the premium subscription, what a waste!

error says transcribe media failed, network error. Actually now it stopped, and i tried another 10 random videos, and it say's it cant get acces. i tried random videos from trending. i'm gonna stick with opus clip i guess
@@majster263hmm that’s strange. I also had that a few times. What you can do is simply download the RUclips video with an online RUclips to MP4 downloader (google it and you will find plenty) and insert this file in Pictory manually. This way it will work always. It only takes a few minutes longer.
I also tried Opus and it’s a very nice program however in my opinion way to expensive and you have to little control over the outcome. $38 dollars for 100 clips from 400 minutes of video… this means you can only use 2 two hour long podcast. However nonetheless an awesome program.

Yes, this video will now be not making you money if you were monetized. Because the money that is generated from that video will go to the copyright owner from that music. However, how did you put the music over your short?

@@zeroyuekun Yeah if you use this method you will probably always get a copyright claim. Some creators allow you to use their music on RUclips while they get the money and other creators wont allow it and then your video get's automatically muted by RUclips.
So if you really wan't to use that music you will have to use the method I used in the video I mentioned in my previous comment. Or you could use of course the music that is already provided by Pictory. This is all copyright free music.
Regarding your other video. I don't know how long it is online yet but it can take a while before youtube finds it and put the copyright claim on it. I would definitely be careful with this way of using music!

Wow, that's really strange... I'm not sure what is going wrong. Because I used videos that where 2 hours + multiple times. Did you used the youtube link feature? If so maybe you can try and download the video first to an MP4 file with a RUclips to MP4 converter and then upload this file directly into Pictory.

Well, there are scheduling tools out there where you can schedule I believe to a max of 10.000 videos at once. An alternative is to do it manually.

Well you have to make it transformative. This is what RUclips says about transformative content; “whether the use adds new expression or meaning to the original material, or whether it merely copies from the original.”
But in my opinion it is always a gamble. Because there is a human that is going to judge if it is or not. And this changes time to time.
