Everyone was complaining about how dirty BD all season in 2012, then they came into finals week just way cleaner than before and took home the Sanford. It doesn't matter how good you sound now, the only thing that matters are the last 3 days. This book is insane, and if they can clean it I think another high drums award might be in their future.
When was the last time blue Devils had a legit Drumline? Just curious. It’s obvious they aren’t what they used to be compared to the rest of the lines right now. Asking for a friend.
They won best percussion in 2012 and 2015, and have been hovering around the top 3 or 4 since. There's also been a couple recent years where they won percussion on finals night, but since best percussion is an average of all 3 nights the award went to someone more consistent, like SCV.
Weird how BD always seems to me like they have the youngest kids in their lines compared to other corps, even when the other corps' members look so young too. Old man comment

BD finally has sweet sounding tenor drums. It's so refreshing. I guess it's the Ludwigs and how they tune them?
