Even though he was already known as a local DJ, it wasn't until he competed in that Power Tools DJ contest set up by Humpty Vission and won that he "blew up"!! Michael Trance is a true OG of the hard house scene!!! La Rock and Modern Romance are two other badass DJ's who got their start with Power Tools the same way!!!!✊✊✊
Lol he looks like Jonathan Davis from Korn if he was a DJ 😂 I vividly remember this dude! He sent in a mix to Power Tools (late night radio show from Los Angeles in the 90's) for a DJ contest and he won! I used to have that first mix he sent in, on cassette, I recorded it the night Power Tools played his mix on the radio! Dude went on to become one of the greatest DJ's and producers of the hard house scene back then!! Pure badass, Michael Trance!!!
