This is a great well made vise and base. I have it since 7 years now and tied many flies a year...the vice and accessories are like they look when unboxed.
I have owned the Jvice for a year now. I own other top brand vises also. The Jvice is my go to vise and favorite of the pack. Extremely high quality in materials and workmanship! You deal with Jay directly and he will produce your vise when it is ordered. So basically, you get a custom made vise which was not mass produced. If anyone is intending investing the money on a high end vise, I would have to say that the Jvice is your best option!

100% agree. If you are looking for a vise that will last for life this is it for sure. I do prefer this over the Norvise as well.
