We had the massive bird, the weird worm thing in the school (a mole?), the whale bones, and maybe even the tall man was meant to be a weird snake, or parasite (because of the sliding skins). I think what happened is the Boy and the 3 friends were, for some reason, sacrificing all the children with animal masks to stop the war, and the blood pact/blood sacrifice was their way of ensuring it worked this time. This is why the Girl kept seeing visions of the red light. The sheep at the end represent a "lamb to the slaughter" pattern of innocent kids being killed. Of course, this doesn't fully connect to the blood pact scene, but it's interesting to intemperate the animal-themed bosses as the previously sacrificed children trying to stop the group from killing the Girl. The True Ending is those same children mourning her death.

I'd like to add on the idea that their suicide was not meant to just be death, but the representation of what loss can do. I think that the end does a good job explaining it, the girl was a victim of the other boys worship, she was killed as some soft of sacrifice (for the sheep "god" or "deity"), and i remember in the last vid, the hood(plenty) was reluctant to go with you initially, plenty was also the one who stabbed the girl at the end. i think he felt a massive amount of guilt and exiled him self after they sacrificed her, but she was later the brought back in return for being the host for the sheep deity. thats my take on it, but i'm not sure.

What i understand regarding the plot/meaning behind the game. Its a loss of innocence due to war and how people will do horrible things in desperation. The children were orphans(you see this by visiting the orphanage) of the war and had become desperate to survive. A cult(speculation from the lambs standing up at the end) convinced them to sacrifice the girl to possibly end the war for good(i believe its been going on for years judging by how run down and dusty everything this) and they succeed in ending it but by flooding the world(the well starts to overflow with water at the end) Everyone dies and this can be seen as a type of hell or purgatory(Most of the kids dialog is just them confused and wanting to go back home) I think the lamb is sort of like her anger. Something she had deep inside and the more she was with the boys, it pent up until it came out. The sheep can also be their punishment for what they did to the world and/or her. The secret ending shows us that there were more sacrifices before her(similar masks as her) but ig since she was a virgin(implied by her white dress. A symbol of purity. Her dress even starts to get bloody. Almost like she went through puberty at the end) the ritual worked. The loss of innocence i mentioned is seen by how they fight the monsters. They get more and more violent and it doesn't seem to bother them. As well as how they litterally killed one of their friends for their ritual! I think the war desensitized them enough that they were able to kill the girl in cold blood. Apperantly the boy with the noose around his neck is actually her brother so i think its crazy how these kids were caple of doing something to someone they love, especially to family. Its confirmed that 3 DLCs will be out for this game and hopefully they can fill us in on more details about the world!!

I think the main theory on the game is that what we see at the end is actually a flash back to before the game even started. Basically, there is this big war going on, we don’t know why but we know there is one, so the kids decide to sacrifice the rabbit girl to the well to try and end the war, however, this backfires. Because of the girl getting sent down the well the whole world has flooded ( that’s why there were so many cities and buildings either flooded or entirely underwater) the reason why the sheep is there is because presumably that is the thing they sacrifice to, and the sheep is what is presumably gonna end the war. There also a theory that the sacrifice somehow infected or created the giant creatures we see in game (the sniffer, the bird, the soldiers) which is why they are so giant, they’re either mutated or not from here. We don’t have everything figured out obviously (like idk what’s going in the secret ending, maybe it was other children sacrificed there or possibly a dlc thing) but that’s the main theories I’ve heard

What i understand regarding the plot/meaning behind the game.
Its a loss of innocence due to war and how people will do horrible things in desperation.
The children were orphans(you see this by visiting the orphanage) of the war and had become desperate to survive. A cult(speculation from the lambs standing up at the end) convinced them to sacrifice the girl to possibly end the war for good(i believe its been going on for years judging by how run down and dusty everything this) and they succeed in ending it but by flooding the world(the well starts to overflow with water at the end)
Everyone dies and this can be seen as a type of hell or purgatory(Most of the kids dialog is just them confused and wanting to go back home)
I think the lamb is sort of like her anger. Something she had deep inside and the more she was with the boys, it pent up until it came out. The sheep can also be their punishment for what they did to the world and/or her.
The secret ending shows us that there were more sacrifices before her(similar masks as her) but ig since she was a virgin(implied by her white dress. A symbol of purity. Her dress even starts to get bloody. Almost like she went through puberty at the end) the ritual worked.
The loss of innocence i mentioned is seen by how they fight the monsters. They get more and more violent and it doesn't seem to bother them. As well as how they litterally killed one of their friends for their ritual! I think the war desensitized them enough that they were able to kill the girl in cold blood. Apperantly the boy with the noose around his neck is actually her brother so i think its crazy how these kids were caple of doing something to someone they love, especially to family.
Its confirmed that 3 DLCs will be out for this game and hopefully they can fill us in on more details about the world!!

I think the main theory on the game is that what we see at the end is actually a flash back to before the game even started. Basically, there is this big war going on, we don’t know why but we know there is one, so the kids decide to sacrifice the rabbit girl to the well to try and end the war, however, this backfires. Because of the girl getting sent down the well the whole world has flooded ( that’s why there were so many cities and buildings either flooded or entirely underwater) the reason why the sheep is there is because presumably that is the thing they sacrifice to, and the sheep is what is presumably gonna end the war. There also a theory that the sacrifice somehow infected or created the giant creatures we see in game (the sniffer, the bird, the soldiers) which is why they are so giant, they’re either mutated or not from here. We don’t have everything figured out obviously (like idk what’s going in the secret ending, maybe it was other children sacrificed there or possibly a dlc thing) but that’s the main theories I’ve heard

The scene when the "soldiers" were supposedly offing themselves reminded me of a movie named overlord (2019) Basically world war 2 and the nazis did tests on people (jews) turning them into weird creatures.
