Probably heard this live 100 times and it still doesn't get old. Charles Meeks was very kind to me as a kid. Was always impressed with the talent of Grant Geissman and James Bradley Jr. My Uncle Chris was like a superhero to me. I miss him very much. Thank you for posting this.
What wonderful memories you must have! I saw Chuck and his quartet play this in Pittsburgh as part of the “Evening of Magic” tour back when I was in 7th or 8th grade. I still cherish the memory of the experience. Sorry to hear that your uncle passed. What a talent!
Brian, I have Always admired your uncle and I got to meet him and work with him @ Boise, Idaho when he played there. He treated me like family like he knew me for years. A great guy, I was so sad when he passed.

THE SÚPER CONCERT IN HOLLYWOOD BOWL IN LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA USA IN 1977 TO 1978 I STILL REALLY POSSES THE 2 ALBUMS LP AND THE AUDIO CASSETES COLLECTIONS AND CD REMASTERED OVER 42 YEARS AGO WHAT THE MEMORIES BACK THEN BEFORE !
The Eleventh Commandment: "Make a joyful noise before the Lord with the brass instruments. Yea, upon the high sounding brass shalt thou wail. Upon percussive instruments shalt thou find the groove and on low stringed instruments shalt thou juke. For this rises as a sweet smelling savor before the throne of God, and is pleasing in His eyes." Disclaimer: no, this is not exactly found in the Bible. This is all rather tongue-in-cheek. Having said that; there are enough scriptures that deliver this sentiment, especially in Psalms.

James Bradley Jr. is a super drummer.

Written for Steve Gadd while Steve was studying at Eastman School of a Music
Charles Meeks doesn't get enough credit nor recognition, but is one hell of a bassist.
Oh I can find on RUclips are these short versions. Apparently no one remembers the long version that he originally did.
RIP CHRIS .... :(
For a moment I thought that was in the famous concert in Hollywood Bowl….
