- I am a recent retiree after many years of work in the British and Canadian lumber industries, in this 'Day in the Life' video I show a typical day of my retirement in my adopted home province of British Columbia, Canada. Always the handyman with a strong urge to continue to be active in mind & body during retirement I am continually pushing myself, in this episode I take washroom renovation garbage to the dump and pick up gravel for the backyard with a dog walk along the river in between
Good stuff my friend 😊happy you are enjoying yourself 👍👍
@@sneakysweeno thanks mate , much appreciated. Just checked out your channel , haven’t got a drone yet but am seriously thinking about it, the scenery here is a stunning as Scotland and would add more fun to my hikes
Great video, followed you from My Retired life. New subscriber from southern Manitoba ☕️🇨🇦
@@CoffeeWalksandWhatever Many thanks for watching & subscribing, hopefully a few of my west coast videos will go down well over a cup of coffee too! I also subscribed to your channel, I can’t resist watching home renovations lol
All the best, Oz
Awesome good job nice video sharing
@@myfavoritegames9927 Thanks mate that’s much appreciated, looks like my vids are quite different to yours too so I’m glad you found it somewhat interesting. I remember as a teenager drinking in London pubs and playing the latest computer game just out, Pac-Man, times have changed lol
Glad it was you that was shoveling that stone! I remember James Kerr! (Yes, I'm that old too) Nice vlog oz. Cheers
@@myretiredlife13 rather do the manual work than go to a gym, feel I’ve accomplished more. The galloping gourmet liked his wine 🍷
@@Ozinretirement Yes he did. I agree with you about the gym.
Love the little ladder I don’t jump off tailgates anymore at this age either😂
@@TrekkingwithTaz gotta preserve the knees as best as possible, nothing better than a day hike through the woods, so far they’re holding up lol
@ I know the feelings and I do my best to take care of mine as well
@ just followed the backcountry Prince too, nice aerial shots from Shawn’s place
@ Mark is a very tech savvy guy and a beast to follow in the mountains. He got some fantastic drone video of our hike up to Longworth lookout.
My word, isn’t it satisfying dumping old stuff. Dumping everything in the right place is good. I find winter sorts out the junk for me: by spring it’s obvious what’s C not made the Final Cut. We have to pay £40 for a rubbish pick up at home but free if we d er liver the junk by car, unless we’re a business. Is random dumping an issue?
@@TerryMcGearyScotland random dumping is the norm but you have to pay by weight unloaded & it’s cheaper during the week than weekends, recycling products are no charge though. The washroom remodel is now done but I still need one more pick up of gravel for the dog run.
Thanks for watching, much appreciated
@ Best of luck with it.👍

🤣
@@myretiredlife13 you’re the best lol! Maybe spread the word to your buddy’s to make more of a race of it hahaha
@@Ozinretirement Actually...I mentioned you in my last video. Link in description too. You're welcome 😁my friend. Stay warm.
@@myretiredlife13 that’s very much appreciated, can’t brake the 200 subs level lol. I’ll definitely check out the video when I get home, thanks again, Oz
Made me tired watching you work!
@@BuzzRetirementGarage That’s the kind of day I enjoy, when you relax in the evening you feel you’ve accomplished something. This weekends all about installation of the vanity, lights & mirror, how’s yours coming along? Thanks for the view Buzz, much appreciated, if you ever do a ‘shout out’ video please don’t forget your loyal sub Oz lol
