- अगर भारत के 80% नागरिक मुसलमान हो जायें तो क्या भारत बचेगा? इसका सीधा जवाब यह है किअगर ऐसा होता है तो पाकिस्तान व भारत में कोई अंतरनहीं रह जाएगा. परंतु अपने आप को बुद्धि-ज़ीवी कहने वाले लोग कहते है कि 'भारत के 100% मुस्लिम या इसाई हो जाने से क्या फ़र्क पढ़ता है'? वह कहते है की यह पूर्णतःभारत के संविधान के अनुरूप है. हिंदू धर्म, भारत की सभ्यता व भारत के आध्यात्मिक दर्शन की निरन्तरता बनाए रखना हर हिंदू का पहला धर्म है. शंकर शरण जी का यह लेक्चर इन्ही सब बिंदुओं पर दृष्टि डालता है.
Dr. Sharan insists that to retain our culture and sanskriti we need to be vigilant towards our Hinduism. He asks rhetorically, if 80% of Indians turn Muslims will Bharat and Bharatiyata survive? The only answer to this question is in that case Bharat will become just like Pakistan. There will be no difference between the two. But unfortunately the so called pseudo-intellectuals think that it won't matter much even if 100 % population is Muslim or Christian. They propagate that it is well within their constitutional rights. But Bharat can only retain its deep essence by retaining Hinduism which is the core of Bharatiya Sanskriti. It is the prime duty of every Hindu to keep practicing their ancient religion and culture in its pure form and understand the depth of Hindu philosophy.
That will be the only way to survive as Bharat.

Dr. Sharan is a Hindi writer and educationist, currently Professor of Political Science. He is an expert of Soviet Marxist Philosophy and its applications. He has earned much fame by writing many books on Communism, Marxist theory, Secularism, Islamic terrorism, Gandhian Philosophy and Comparative study of Religions from the point of view of Hinduism.

He is quite right. When you get a wound you need proper treatment, no matter if the healing process is painful or not. If you try to hide the wound it will get worse in course of time and you may end loosing your limb. With due respect Gandhi ji did the same, instead of facing any problem he went on patching after patching and ended in partition. After independence the same practice was followed systematically for a very long period of time and made situation worse than before, and that is what we in now.
It's time for us to meet the problems and find proper solution.

First of all, we should for ourselves explore our spiritual heritage, and make our friends and relatives aware and known about this nectar. I would appreciate if there was awareness in people to call it "Dharma" "धर्म ". "The law of multiverse, ब्रह्मा़ंड " , "law of nature, प्रकृति". This manifests itself in our way of life based on Sanatan Sanskriti. Vedic SANSKRITI is repository of knowledge of human evolution. This evolved with the time and yug (kaal). Dharma has universal application without discrimination. It gave such a good and peaceful life to its followers that India was the top economy of the world till 1200 AD since ancient time. Till the Islamic invaders took over the major part of India after several failed attempts of invasion loot and plunder.
1. The place between Himalaya in north to indu sarovar (Indian ocean) in south is called Hindu. Himalya Hi + indu. Makes the word Hindu. Used for geographic demarcation. Hindu kush mountain Hindu river called as Sindhu river all indicated the sanskrit origin of the word. But yes doesn't indicate religion but Geographic. Hindustan is a pure sanskrit origin word. Hindu + sthan. Any word added with "sthan" indicates its sanskrit origin. "sthan" became "stan" in apbhransh and prakrit. Has nothing to do with Persian or Arabic. Read the Aagmas and puran.
The muslim invaders tried to demean the word Hindu with many bad words to show them down and paint them as bad people. This is how racist jokes are created. Ayurvda, Medicine, Vyakrna, Natyashashtra, state crafts, yagya hawan ritual, philosophy, astrology, Jyotish, poetics, sangita shastra, yoga, Veda,Vedanta, Aagam, Nigam, Itihas, Puran, Vyakaran, chhand, Nirukta, Mimansa architecture mathematics to name a few. Books are available on every aspect of human brain can imagine in such a detail that only one book Mahabharat contains one lakh shlokas.
5. In short Dharma is celebration of the diversity of Human knowledge. Celebrating life and Nature is integral part of Sanatan sanskriti. Hindu celebrate Holi Diwali Chhath Pongal Vaisakhi Sankranti alongside numerous smaller celebration round the year.

But once you will know Dharma out of the set criteria of Abrahamic religion for Dharma. You will find nothing to criticize like a blind man holding an elephant tail and saying why he is made to hold a snake. Instead of criticism You will question and seek answers.
9. For example when you see a survivor on discovery eating dead animal poo and pee either you appreciate or criticize this. But no one can deny that this human will survive the odd. And Dharma have a complete set of philosophy and practicing sect called aghori. However a few. To make sure that the human will survive the extreme. Human will not die out because of the certain dogmas made by the so called civilized society or religion. Dharma supports all accommodates all.
10. Religion ends at heaven and hell only but the Dharma gives to strive even beyond this. That's Moksha complete liberation. Gives emphasis on seeking, knowing your self deep within and finding your own path. Now it depends on us that we respect equally to our teacher and our toilet cleaner. Which Dharma clearly says respect each and every thing. This is why worship for all not only to teachers. So if you respect your teacher and toilet cleaner equally you are a great Dharmik person. To show respect we must touch feet not the head. Now where you see fault in this varna system. Lots of Rishi like Valmiki, Vedvyas, Ravidas, Parashar etc were not born in cast Brahman but respected worshipped. Cast seems a tribal identity with all the evils of Ego and depends totally on an individual local social environment no support from Dharma
12. Sanatan Dharma allow an individual to seek truth, follow a path or make his her own path to reach the goal of 'Brahma" the energy and consciousness of the Brahmaand. The feeling of अहं ब्रह्मास्मी, I am the consciousness makes one enlighten and तत् त्वमसी, so are you makes you a Guru.
This is the reason encouraged many enlightened soul to find and make their own path. Thus Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, sant parampra like Kabir, Ravidas etc were born without any conflict. Dharma allowed them to propagate and flourish
13. Comparing Dharma with one book one prophet religion is not a good idea. Can only increase ignorance. Because books of mazhab are small simple and for that for the followers of that particular mazhab only. Hindus so far have been very meek and apologetic with utterances like, all religions have same teachings, there are various ways to reach God etc. They have to rethink this kind of logic because it is based on false narrative. First of Hindu philosophy (leaving aside Moral principals) is very different from other beliefs, which are based on the idea that people who follow these faiths are like chosen people, who alone qualify to go to heaven for perpetuity and the rest of the humanity will be trust in hell forever. It doesn't matter whether you are morally great person or you were not even aware of these alien faiths. According to these faiths if you don't subscribe to their belief system you will face the wrath of their God on judgement day and consigned to Hell forever. In contrast Sanathan(Hindu) philosophy there is no such concept of permanent hell or heaven, because each person has the freedom to pursue his or her spiritual journey according to ones moral standing and laws of Action and Karma come into play, which will lead one to Moksha either in present life or future lives. That's the reason for reincarnation. Come to think about it why would God send his 'Only Son' or last Prophet' to some small part of our earth and expect rest of the humanity to follow the teachings in remote corners of this world and various infinite Universes. Hindus have to be assertive in projecting their views to protect original Dharma --Sanathan Dharma.
