Yes Junaid, Hubbali airport is nearest to Dandeli but if we consider a prominent airport then it should be Goa. Because Hubbali have two to three flights from Bangalore and just one or two flights from Chennai, Hyderabad and all.. On other hand Goa connects to almost every major city of India and its just at a distance of approximately 100 km from Dandeli. So I mentioned Goa as the nearest "prominent/major/main" airport. Yes, you can visit Dandeli now also, but in January and all it will be a bit more colder than usual, so the water activities and all you will not enjoy much now . As per my opinion the best time to visit Dandeli is during summer (March, April, May) because in summer the weather will be pleasant as well as you can enjoy the stay, rain dance and all in resorts, as well as the water activities.
