Thank you for taking good care of your baby with Cushing. As a horse farrier I see a lot of horses with Cushing and a lot of people aren't willing to pay the medication because it's so expensive but it helps the horses so much. It's hard to see when people don't do it. Especially when I know a lot of them have the money for it and just don't wanna spend it on their horse
I live out my childhood dream of having a horse through watching these videos 😂 now I’m 21 I think the aim is to eventually buy a property with some land so I can have a few rescue donkeys roaming around...horses are great but such hard work, props to Esme for looking after all 6 animals on her own💜

I have been thinking about this all day because earlier this morning as soon as I woke up, I went down stairs and sat at the kitchen table. As soon as I sat down, my mom said that I have some bad news. My heart immediately jumped to the worst possible thing that could have happened which would be losing a family member or any of my animals. Instead, she told me that the lesson horse that I was and still am in love with’s owners took him back from the place he was being bordered at. His owners didn’t give my trainer any notice and they didn’t pay there over due fine from the boarding fees. The owners of the horse knew that my trainer wouldn’t be their at the stables that day so they quickly pulled up to the barn, loaded him, and left. I was so upset. I was just starting to learn how to jump on him and I love him so much. The part that bothers me the most though is that he isn’t in a very good home. Apollo, the horse I was riding is an 8 yr old Ottb hunter jumper. He wasn’t perfect but he was perfect for me. Apollo had a successful racing career before his jumping career, he has great bloodlines so he was not a cheap horse. His current owners obviously had enough money to buy him but Apollo has stomach ulcers and his owners won’t pay to have it fixed. Some people just shouldn’t be horse owners. I know this sounds crazy, but I want to buy him. We are getting ready to buy a horse for me pretty soon anyways so I want to talk to my trainer to see if she will ask Appollos owners will sell him to me. I love him and o can’t stand to see him live in a bad home and he is my favorite horse to ride. He is my heart horse and I can’t and won’t stand to lose him. What do you think I should do? I don’t have a steady income because I’m only 13 but I really love him and I can’t lose him. If I don’t buy him, I won’t ever see him again. I need some advice.

Life, death, aging, and experiencing good and bad things are all part of life. You can't truly have happy times without sorrow and loss. These things will continue to happen and be scary for everyone out there with animals that they love. Keep this awareness because sometimes it's important to remember that we need to accept the cycles of mother nature in order to have peace in our hearts when bad things happen.
I have my first horseback riding lesson today so im super excited
