The ground is frozen. So just "let it go, let it go" 🎵

Concrete quits hydration below 50 F. The concrete heat of hydration needs to be captured to cause the concrete to cure. The earth will insulate the concrete. Post holes contain very small amount of concrete and very little heat will be produced from the concrete. You do not want your wet concrete to freeze. Blankets can be used to retain some of the heat. Heated tents also increase the concrete temperature. Concrete takes 28 days to reach full strength at normal temperatures. At low temperatures, it will take longer. Do you really need the full strength of the concrete, maybe not. You cold use a higher strength mix that would produce higher strength, quicker and more heat. Add mixtures like calcium chloride will increase the heat of hydration. Maybe you let the concrete to cure longer before building the rest of the fence. A Schmidt Hammer test could be used to test the concrete’s strength over time.

FL Fence quote 10k for 338 feet long x 6ft tall 9ga black chain link with two 7 ft double gate. What questions should I ask? How many bags of cement per post? How many line post included? Thanks for your help.

I’d use concrete instead of cement personally

if its concrete 2 bags is fine. if driving the pipe it should be over 3ft deep. make sure its 2 3/8 or better terminal and gate post and 1 7/8 line post.
