Love the tutorial man! I never thought to use Carabiners to attach to and from floats/weights
I’ll definitely be using your system 👍🏼

Thank you for the kind words! It's a pretty simple and effective system and you can modify it however you like to best fit your diving 🤙

Thank you! This one was the Apneautic Freediving Buoy. This one is inexpensive but not near as study or high quality as some other ones like the GTForm buoys or 2b free - those are much better

Greetings from hawaii! Love the videos...what line is this?

      Thanks a lot!
This white line was from Freedive Academy Panglao's webshop , 10mm thick, 30m long. I also have the same line 100m long for depth diving and it was decent line a reasonable price. Also bought the weight strap from them.
The yellow line in some clips is higher quality but twice the price... I forget where exactly i bought it, had it for so long. It's too thick 12mm though for me - takes up too much space and gets really heavy (my 60m yellow line takes more space than 100m white line)
      Hope that helps!

@@androopr I thought I had recognized that was from Freedive Academy...was the ordering process pretty easy? I once tried to order a nose clip from them and idk what happened but the payment got all funky lol. No biggie, I will figure it out! Thanks for all the info and if you ever visit O'ahu...hit me up! @sacred_space_freediving

@@jamesmcneil9399 I've put a few orders in with them over the past two years or so and each time the ordering process and delivery was very smooth :)
Thanks a lot, I'll keep that in kind - last time I was in Oahu was about 4 years ago... lots of fun recreational diving :)

      Hi Nelson!!
I ordered this one at the same place as the dive line in this video - Freedive Academy Panglao
      www.freediveacademy.com/product/go-deep-bottom-weight-strap/

Shipping might not be worth it if just ordering the strap - but these kinds of straps can sometimes be found at fitness stores too

Can you post a link for the line keeper and is it rated for salt water? Thank you

A good option too, I personally don't like using the octopus as much
