I have a friend who is from Namibia, notice that I said OMG all too frequently. He explained that in his culture instead of OMG he said OM and the name of his past grandfather at which point his grandfather would bless him. So I asked if he wanted my to say OM Walter? He replied "that's right" lol. I hadn't thought of Walter for over a decade. He was a great guy!!!
The blessing was immediate!
Thanks a lot, i really appreciate the way you teach...

Madam, I have a doubtful phrase, that is; "With a direction to". Madam, what does the phrase "With a direction to" mean ? Please try to make me understand about it by means of some particular examples. I hope you will try to reply as soon as possible. I will be looking forward to your reply.
l thought only Spanish and Portuguese speakers said "Ay, caramba".In Brazil we say it a lot.
Some English speakers use this phrase. There are many foreign phrases English speakers use from time to time

Australia
i know these words
Beauty Adriana :-* where are you from?
Australia
Hi I'm come back
Nice to see you back here
What do i use instead of the word damn
Why is "oh my god" offensive? I honestly have no clue. Like why is saying "jesus" offensive too?
me: Da Fuc its 1 am
Oh my God is a swear word
Anything you have without GOD
Ay caramba sounds Spanish 😄
It is!
Wait I forget is this in English?
It’s also using God’s name in vein and it is disrespectful because it’s using his name as a curse
Just a feedback, I think it would be better if you present less phrases or words in one session as it is a bit difficult to catch up with all you are teaching. Just a feedback though.
Thanks for the suggestion, will keep it in mind for future video lessons
@@EnglishwithAdriana thank you for your consideration and reply.

English with Adriana are you a Christian?
This has nothing to do with learning English. There is nothing wrong with saying Oh my god and it's certainly not offensive to anyone but super uptight people with dogmatic religious views and speaking always in euphemisms makes you sound like a dork.
It is naming God in vain. It is a venial sin against the second Commandment. Maybe you don't know. Peace Virgin Mary Bless you
Please never use the names God and Jesus in casual form. It is offensive to Christians. This is addressed in the Ten Commandments.
Your intro is WAY too long.
I can not use " Oh Jesus " Because it's Incorrect Jesus Christ is not GOD
I understand, I try to avoid it too but used it in this video to share examples
Reply to Md Suyeb Akhter: Please take note of Matthew 1:23
Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name, Immanuel (which means, God with us).
